Rilke: To yearn
For what is absent
Draws it toward us

While I have gone within
Much of the world
Has gone away

When I was little
When I was lonely
I just trusted

Now that I am older
Yearning is my way
To let the things

I love that go know
That I miss them
When they are away

Perhaps you too have
Learned that things unmissed
Might just keep going

Now that I do not
Trust so much but yearn
Have learned

Some things cannot return
But sometimes it
Amazes me what can
