During the Ice Age frozen water not only built huge glacier mountains which caused erosions evident to this day, it also dropped the sea level of the earth’s oceans. So much so that parts of earth now under water were exposed to mammals roaming the earth.

The very foundation of the Mormon Church is based not only on the story line of the Book of Mormon [BOM] but also on the physical presence of the book which one can heft, hold, read and see as tangible “evidence” of the claim that the American Indian’s ancestry is Jewish. Like Catholic relics it gives tangible presence, if not awe, to the naïve viewer. However unlike relics it has the smell of fresh ink rather than dust of antiquity.

So there it is---- physical offering of evidence used as the primary tool in attracting and converting “investigators” to the rest of the fraud of Mormonism. It could be equated with the old sophism of “Hook line and Sinker”. Some 18 million peoples are claimed to be witnesses to the truth of the book. It is standard practice for a person’s development as a true blue Mormon to graduate in doctrine by standing up at a once monthly congregational “testimony meting” to say unabashedly, “I know the Book of Mormon is true” As well as currently, “I know President Thomas Monson is a prophet of God” etc, etc, etc.
Well of course there is no way that a person can know such things unless they have been there, seen and tested everything to a conclusion which of course never happens. The testimony of one person cannot spawn testimony in another. Ignorant faith based on brainwashing doesn’t cut it!
In 2001 a book was published by an Australian, plant geneticist, Simon Southerton, who formerly had been a very active Mormon. He had done a mission and been a bishop. He discusses the prominent assertion contained within the BOM of self proof of the authenticity of the book wherein it claims if the reader will just read it prayerfully with pure intent/heart that the Holy Ghost will manifest the truth [ A burning in the Bosom] of it to the reader. As Southerton notices when no such affirmation comes, one is left not with proof about the book but with doubts about ones own spiritual integrity.
It is a built-in ruse equivalent to the Mormon temple endowment ceremony. Rather than specifying exactly what items are to be sworn to at the outset, candidates for the endowment are told they will be asked to make solemn pledges of secrecy. If anyone doesn’t want to do that they have a right to leave “NOW”. At this point in church membership growth no one is going make themselves seen as a doubter of the truth of the Mormon gospel, so they stay in the group and end up swearing their life, energy and blood to what can only be called secrets of a Luciferian deception.
Losing a lost Tribe” is based on DNA evidence that completely destroyed the genesis of the BOM. The BOM begins with a story that shortly before the war resulting in the 70 year Babylonian captivity of Jews from Jerusalem [ circa 600 years BC], God spoke to a prophet Lehi resulting in that man, his servants and family making a journey by sea to the Americas where they became the progenitors of the American Indian.
Losing a lost tribe completely obliterates the story line and its credibility. DNA of the Indians of North and South America is traced back to Siberia not the Middle East. How the migration occurred was via the Bering Land Bridge some 12,000 years ago. The BOM story is false in that there is no DNA evidence of a Middle Eastern people who migrated to the Western Hemisphere 2,500 years ago.

It is tough to discover that what you have believed in and invested your time in for so many years is a false hope and even a fraud/scam. You can spend hours and a lot of verbiage in rationalizing justification and excuses to continue the learned belief system. I know I have been there and done it!
However, thanks to the work of Watson, Crick, Wilkins and Franklin we can prove the basic fraud of the BOM.
Stuart Ferguson was a Mormon attorney from the SF Bay area who was raising money for research into the traces of the BOM peoples in South America. I met him when he came to Portland, Oregon in the early 1960’s. He had co-authored a book Ancient America and the Book of Mormon. Less than 20 years later he dropped out of the church
And was openly advising that there was no truth in the book as there was absolutely no evidence in South America of the BOM peoples.
Lack of DNA proof supporting the BOM story together with lack of physical evidence of the existence of BOM peoples in the Western Hemisphere blows the book out of the water and demolishes the very under-lying foundation of the Church.
When church president Spencer W. Kimball stood up in Conference in 1976, after I had ordained a Black man to priesthood (an idea he rejected and later recanted), and declared that the, “line of communication [between he and god] remains unbroken”, he was telling a lie of extreme magnitude unless he was unaware that the god he paid homage to was a god of lies.
Scholars have debated the BOM authorship for many decades. The best shot is that Sidney Rigdon, a defrocked Baptist minister, while working at a printer’s shop found
an old yellowing manuscript of a fictional account of the origins of the American Indian
written by a Samuel Spalding which had never been printed due to bankruptcy of the previous owner of the shop. Rigdon did two redactions imposing his own religious philosophy in it and then passed it off to the stone gazing kid, Joe Smith, in Palmyra NY.
