A Tale of Two Republics
by W. Finnerty Sat Jul 09, 2011 09:47

Though the recent "World in Review" video report (just a little over 11 minutes in duration) at the www address provided immediately below concerns itself primarily with extremely important and basic constitutional issues and principles relating to the Constitution of the Republic of the United States of America, much of the content appears to me to apply equally well to the Constitution of the Republic of Ireland.

It is well worth having a look at (in my opinion): http://www.larouchepac.com/node/18706

"The Constitution has been hijacked ..."

"Among the large group of senior 'public servant' lawyers primarily responsible for creating and sustaining the above mentioned samples of unconstitutional legislation in the Republic of Ireland are: President Mary McAleese, Chief Justice John L. Murray, and former Minister for Justice Michael McDowell."

Providing "Impunity Facilities" For Lord Jacob Rothschild ...

"5)
I have not been back to the Greencastle property since the morning of Monday September 1st 2008 because the police informed me they would return to arrest me (at the Greencastle property) if I did not present myself at the Omagh Police Station at '1400 hours' on September 1st 2008; and, the reason I have stayed away from the Greencastle address is wholly because I fear I would be putting my life at risk by returning there as things stand at the present time, having due regard for the fact that senior members of the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) appear to me to be ignoring my numerous efforts to truthfully communicate with them in writing (via e-mail and recorded delivery letters): which, correctly or otherwise, leaves me with the feeling that their only interest in the truth relating to my case is to cover it up -- for the purpose, apparently, of providing " impunity facilities " for people such as Lord Jacob Rothschild (for example), and with no regard WHATSOEVER it seems for the very wide range of "costs" that doing so forces onto me, day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year."

Excerpt from July 4th 2011 e-mail to Republic of Ireland Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton TD:

"The biggest crimes of our legal profession (as far as I'm concerned) -- and they are treasonous crimes of the very worst kind imaginable -- is that they have a) allowed our Constitution to be undermined in crucially important areas, such as Article 6.1 for example; and b) that despite all of the extremely serious and growing set of problems their wrongdoing is causing for the People of the Republic of Ireland, there is STILL not the slightest sign (that I know of) of ANY of them doing ANYTHING whatsoever to remedy their gross violations of our law: criminal violations of the "HIGHEST" law of the Republic of Ireland, that is."

"But the Constitution ... till changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole people, is sacredly obligatory upon all."

"The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. The disorders and miseries which result gradually incline the minds of men to seek security and repose in the absolute power of an individual; and sooner or later the chief of some prevailing faction, more able or more fortunate than his competitors, turns this disposition to the purposes of his own elevation, on the ruins of public liberty."

First President of the United States of America George Washington

The Constitutional Doctrine of The Tripartite Separation of Powers of Government:

Republic of Ireland Republic of the United States of America

===========================

The Constitution of the Republic of Ireland , according to Chief Justice O'Dalaigh CJ. in In re Haughey (1971), is founded on the doctrine of the tripartite division of powers of government - 1) legislative (Oireachtas), 2) executive (government ministers) and 3) judicial (courts, judges, members of legal profession).

"Abuse of power by one (branch of government) can be checked by the others and tyranny , hopefully, is prevented."

"... the freedom of the individual to reject mass opinion ..."

"I had from my student days a keenly developed sense of the rights of the individual and the sacredness, perhaps inviolability might be a better term, of the human personality. By this I mean, the freedom of the individual to reject mass opinion: to make an individual choice."

Former Chief Justice Cearbhall DÃ ¡laigh (5th President of the Republic of Ireland)

"Thoughts on Government"

"Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people; and not for profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness require it."

John Adams (2nd President of the Republic of the United States of America).
