On July 12th, 2006, I wrote an article titled: Washington's System Of "Lobbyists = Legal Bribery". Since then, the system has become more corrupt, especially in consideration of the "Fascist Five" at the United States Supreme Court who opined that corporations deserve "person-hood" and are entitled to the constitutionally mandated doctrine of free speech. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce, along with a multitude of Congressional members have become the mouthpieces of Corporate America and have sold their souls to the forces that are hell bent on destroying our democracy, the Middle-class (Mission almost accomplished in that endeavor), and our entire economy.
Once again, I'm in the position of thanking Google for speaking out, telling the truth on a subject that is not "politically correct," and helping to alert the American people to an issue that is allowing Corporations and the Elite's an easy way to control laws that were meant to govern their unethical and destructive business practices. If we don't reign in corporate donations to politicians and completely revamp the way Lobbyists are allowed to operate in Washington, they will continue to write America's legislation, and while some may not think it's that big of an issue, consider this; when Lobbyists write our legislation, it is an extension of Corporate America, Wall Street, the Robber Barons of the Banking Industry and could be easily construed as corporations writing their own laws which make it easier for them to rape and pillage the American public.
Do you believe that my language is overly harsh? If so, ask the millions of Americans that have had their jobs outsourced to foreign countries as well as those whom have had their homes foreclosed upon and lost everything they worked a lifetime to acquire. If anything, I am far too easy on those who have aided in the destruction of our economy and the outsourcing of millions of American jobs. Google's CEO, Eric Schmidt, in typical "Google Style" did not mince words when he accused Washington's Lobbyists of writing our legislation and helped to verify to the American people that Washington and its Congress is deeply corrupt and changes need to be made to our current system where Lobbyists can legally bribe members of Congress.
No, the words I wrote above are not Mr. Schmidt's exact words, however, after you hear his words yourself, it isn't much of a stretch to extrapolate the same conclusion that I did, and one that I have been attempting to bring public attention to for years. To matter how you parse the argument our Congress is being bribed by Lobbyists in a manner that Washington has made legal. It's time to stop the legalized bribery of our Congress, and to maintain elections that are not corporate controlled, it is also time to impeach the Supreme Court Justices that are so radical that they believe corporations deserve the same rights as individual Americans. Listen to Google's CEO speak truth to power and form your own opinion. If you agree that Lobbyists are actively bribing our Congress and are exerting undue influence on our Congress, please forward this brief article to your Congressman(woman) and demand change:
