Dear Speaker Gingrich :
I have noticed that during all the TV interviews of you that I have seen -- even with such a sympathetic person as Sean Hannity -- you never use the name of the interviewer at any time during the conversation . Never !
Failure to use the person's name --at least once or twice -- gives the impression that you do not view the individual as having any particular importance -- as just a " whoever ." And it tends to make you appear as a rather arrogant , self-important person ( which I do not believe is the case ).
Please consider changing your style a bit . If I am getting a negative image of your interview style , chances are that others are also getting the same impression , whether consciously or unconsciously .
Please forgive my candor ; but I think good manners are important .
