He set his parrot free

   cleaned out his desk

   removed the left-overs from the fridge

   the last of his sister's arm

   his neighbor's kidney

   chuckled at his beginnings of

   a "yard sale" sign

   grabbed his sack

   carefully locked the door

   turned

   was abruptly disemboweled

   by an elderly woman

   who was actually

   the Last Anasazi
