The real choice

Neo's choice
This may be the most important choice we will make as a people, and it may be the last time we have such a clear perception of the two roads ahead of us.
Those who obtain political power with the financial backing of billionaires and multinational corporations are part of the oligarchy, no matter how progressive they may appear. In this primary there is only one candidate who represents democracy.
It has always been my understanding that government required the consent of the people. This is the election in which we should not give our consent to politicians for whom the wealthy have purchased political power. Instead we should give our consent to politicians who are dedicated to service of the people. In order to determine who we must elect to serve this end, we observe who obtains political power through the largess of wealth, and who obtains political power through the support of the people. The choice is easy, but if we win this battle, the real fight begins.
The question we must ask is, do we want democracy or oligarchy. If we choose democracy, we choose the responsibility of standing up to the forces that are poised to destroy rule by the people in favor of economic and political tyranny. Our children are depending on us to do the right thing.
