Now that the Democratic contest for the presidential nomination is over, but Sanders has decided not to run as a third party candidate like the Green Party, the only meaningful way to continue his "revolution" is through developing a new party or progressive education/funding organization of the type suggested by Greg Palast. In this connection, I am curious as to who has the control of the Sanders's campaign donor list now. It should ultimately belong and be controlled by the party or organization that will actively and positively take over the progressive work intended by the Sanders campaign, not by the Democratic Party, even if Senator Sanders may stay in the Democratic Party.
Even though Sanders may have the exclusive control of the donor list right now, I hope that he will not abuse his present control of the list by transferring it to the Democratic Party. Because the list of 8 million donors to the progressive cause (distinct from the usual agenda of the Democratic Party) is a precious asset which clearly belongs to the progressive movement he has led but not to him personally, and in no way to the Democratic Party, when it has failed to nominate Sanders as its presidential nominee.
