On Sunday, July 29th, 2012, from 2:30PM-4:30PM (Central Time) "Progressive Politics:Tennessee Style" (PPTS) Radio Show will host "Gun Control: An Adult Conversation". We will discuss the 2nd Amendment, and will have Key Speakers representing the "Pro" and "Con" Gun Control arguments. We will also have live in call capability, as well as a usually very active chatroom available for your comments and questions.
I do not expect we will arrive at any definitive conclusions on this pivotal issue of our time. But, perhaps we can come to some reasoned understanding about why people feel the way they do, and work towards defining better questions to use for future shows, and sensible progressive activism, especially across the Progressive Southern US.
We hope you will join us, and participate. Polite conversation is very nearly a lost art in American Society. We encourage it on PPTS. If you can't make the live show, every episode of PPTS is archived for your later listening pleasure.
