Are corporations evil?

    For many progressives, "corporate" and "corporation" are dirty words.

For example, Chris Hedges writes in Where Liberals Go to Feel Good, "we desperately need citizens and institutions willing to stand up against corporate forces."

Are corporations really evil? Or just some of them?


Corporations are criminal gangs that corrupt politics and exploit the People.
Some corporations are worse than others, but not all corporations are all bad.
Most corporations, like most people, are decent. We just need to regulate them.
Corporations are essential engines of innovation and efficient production.
