Responses to the Financial Crisis - Have They Been Equitable?
At the time of the first Government bailout, news reports indicated that public sentiment was strongly against bailing out the financial industry. Since then, additional bailouts have occurred, and more information has come to light regarding who got bailed out, who didn't get bailed out, who was involved in deciding, and who will foot the bill. The responses in this poll are intended to reflect public opinion on the responses by the Government, Treasury, Federal Reserve, and major banks to the financial crisis. Have the responses been economically equitable for all Americans, or have they favored the financial industry and a small wealthy elite?
