'Diamond-age' of power generation as nuclear batteries developed New technology has been developed that uses nuclear waste to generate electricity in a nuclear-powered battery. A team of physicists and chemists from the University of Bristol has found a way to convert nuclear waste into man-made diamond batteries that can generate a small electric current for longer than the entire history of human civilization.
