Thirty third Conference of Red Cross and Red Crescent
The International Conference aims to influence the global humanitarian agenda and explore current and future challenges affecting people and communities and the vulnerabilities that they face on the ground.
At this gathering, Iranian delegate proposed easing of Western illegal sanctions which have caused suffering to many Iranian children, elderly and ill people. The majority of participating countries agreed, some countries abstained, and three countries voted against Iranian proposal. They are: UK, USA, and Canada.
Illegal sanctions have been against human rights of Iranian people.
