U.S.-China: More Constructive Relations or Economic Appeasement

The U.S.-China path to mutual prosperity stresses the importance of a U.S. deficit-reduction program being enacted now. The Council of Foreign Relations, the PR arm of the U.S. Ruling Elite, which Robert Rubin is the co-chairman has a greater interest in harmonious relations with China, even if it requires outright appeasement, than the economic issues that are closer to the lives of most Americans.
The U.S. Ruling Elite shares a greater common interest with China, with regards to fiscal deficits than with the vast majority of U.S. voters who will be coping with their post-retirement standards of living being decimated. Since China has control the U.S. Dollar for most of the last 20 years, the following quote speaks volumes as to why the U.S. Ruling Elite favor appeasing China: "Give me control over a nation's currency and I care not who makes the laws." -- Baron MA Rothschild
