Your Congressperson's Opposition: TPP isn't Enough or Too Much of a Corporate Power Grab Motivated by Greed!!

If you Congressperson voted for Trade Promotion Authority (Fast Track); but now opposes it as a 2016 campaign issue, there is a high probability that their current opposition is because TPP isn’t enough of a corporate power grab. If your representative voted against Fast Track in June of 2015, chances are their current opposition is because TPP is too much of a corporate power grab.

The linked article sends a signal to the former Congresspersons that issue like the truncated length of patent protections for high-tech medicines called biologics can be overcome paving the way for representatives to flip on TPP in the Lame Duck Session because the greed factor is enhanced.

Rep. Dave Reichert (R-Wash.) said progress was being made on the biologics front and a solution would help sell the TPP to wary GOP lawmakers.
