“Bush Family Baseball; From Cute Sociopath to Global War Criminal

"Bush Family Baseball; From Cute Sociopath to Global War Criminal By Teresa Simón-Noble

"It is the pitch of a father who never c or rected his son's misguided baseball game and the batting son who is still misaiming his baseballs at destroying the American Democracy".

A long time ago Barbara Bush told a st or y about a young teenaged boy named Ge or ge and the baseball he hit and aimed directly at an old neighb or 's second st or y window. The st or y, f or me, today, connects many dots between the American attacks on Fallujah, the White House purge of the CIA liberals, the advent of new h or r or s to come against the w or ld and our very own democracy during the second Bush Squat-A-Thon and, between this young Ge or ge, her son, and our Squatter in the White House.

In the st or y, as I recall the telling of it, Barbara Bush said that she was both enraged at Ge or ge f or breaking the old man's window and, that she, feeling powerless to do anything about what Ge or ge had done, or failing to find the right "discipline" f or Ge or ge, she launched a verbal attack on him f or aiming the ball at their neighb or 's window and f or breaking it, and then  threatened Ge or ge with a, "wait until your father hears about this," tirade, the implication being that Ge or ge was going to get his just deserves once Ge or ge Seni or got home and was apprised of Ge or ge's misadventure.

Barbara Bush expected her husband to be equally enraged upon learning of Ge or ge's misadventure.   She expected the elder Ge or ge to call the younger Ge or ge on the carpet right then and there and fry his butt, or impose some "you are grounded f or an x period of time," stuff.  Instead, she says, the elder Ge or ge was amazed and bewildered at young Ge or ge's ingenuity and good aim and with approval and admiration in his voice at his son's mischief he kept repeating, "Gee, you mean to say that Ge or ge batted the ball that far?  ... You mean to say that Ge or ge broke the old man's window?"

So much f or discipline and just deserves. Ge or ge the elder paid f or the repair to the old man's window and Ge or ge received no punishment f or his mischief which turned out to be a cause celeb f or the elder Ge or ge.

That was, in my mind as I heard the st or y, the very birthing of a sociopathic son by a sociopathic father who was letting his son get away without any consequences f or his mischievous actions... a pattern which, as hist or y makes clear, has repeated itself time and time again in the Bush father-son dyad.

The st or y f or eshadows many of the now well known rescuer-rescued dynamics between the two Ge or ges. It points to the admiration and idealization f or mischief present in the Bush family, and it provides a basis f or , at least, a bare minimum understanding of all of the h or r or st or ies that have accompanied their mischievous behavi or on a grand national scale : from the stealing of election 2000, to the equally mischievous but newly perfected re-stealing of election 2004, to the invasion and occupation of Iraq, to the Fallujah Massacre, to the CIA purge of liberals and of those who do not supp or t the Bush doctrine... to, and including the clear directive from the current direct or of the CIA to neither supp or t opposition to Ge or ge, n or champion opposition to the administration n or its policies ... behind all of which, I believe, Ge or ge the elder (the only f or mer president who continues to receive, at his request, CIA [ or is it FBI?] briefings) is not only pulling the strings, but is still, with awe and admiration in his voice, muttering, Wow! Look at Ge or ge and at all that he is accomplishing in his presidency on behalf of the nation and the w or ld as he throws one ball after another against democracy, civil liberties, environmental protection, innocent civilians in other countries, etc. etc., etc.! Wow! What a son, the elder Bush continues to mutter. Wow...the power of a baseball!

What a pitcher's pitch and a batterer's bat!

It is the pitch of a father who never c or rected his son's baseball game, and the batting of a son who is misaming his baseballs against our American democracy and w or ld peace.

It is a like father, like son st or y.
