Globovision' parallel reality is a necessity! It's basically telling Venezuelans that they are being affected and that the liberation movement that President Hugo Chavez leads entails putting privileged sectors under the microscopic evaluation of the Law.
Our English-speaking VHeadline readers may find it helpful for us to provide a little context to the latter sentences... In Venezuela, there used to be no serious legal system that protected the people, territory, soil, environment or fauna from exploitation by corporations or individuals. Unfortunately, corporations progressively became more and more greedy in Venezuela and so did individuals ... they began to suck the country's lifeblood, resources and to give nothing in return.
When Chavez came to power and began voicing examples of resource-sucking and to show how well a 5th Republic would do, the majority began to vote for him and the minority began to publicly reject him. Chavez began a campaign to eliminate tax evasion ... companies and individuals were (unusually) required to pay for social security, for training etc, and then there was the implementation of a new housing policy law. Labor laws began being updated and enforced. It has become a very good sign of progress to see "power interests" complaining on TV and we all know that if indeed Chavez does something wrong, everyone will know about it in seconds because the Venezuelan opposition will be all over him live radio and TV...
