What's the assumption? Neoliberal policies in Europe have utterly failed. But most worryingly, the european leadership seems to ignore the fact that such policies create social disorder, broaden the gap between rich and poor thus leading to political instability. Subsequently, suck a situation could bring the EU in front of a severe legitimacy crisis with uncontrolled social outcomes.
