U.S. commander ‘perplexed’ by China’s refusal of warship visit
HONOLULU, Hawaii (AP) — The top U.S. military commander in the Pacific said he is “perplexed and concerned” by China’s last-minute decision to deny a U.S. aircraft carrier entry to Hong Kong for a previously scheduled port visit.
The aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk and its escort ships were due to dock there for a four-day visit Wednesday but were refused access.
Hundreds of family members had flown to Hong Kong to spend Thanksgiving with the sailors.
“It’s hard to put any kind of positive spin on this,” Adm. Timothy Keating told The Associated Press in a telephone interview Thursday while flying back to the U.S. after visiting troops in Iraq. More
Based on these stories alone, it’s easy to see that Russia and China aren’t taking too kindly to American aggression, and a President that has been called “out of control” my our own military! LINK The above incidents and factual evidence would make it appear that the US is raising concerns around the world - and those who were once allies are improving their own offense/defense capability to meet a perceived threat by the Unites States. We have lost our credibility, respect, and trust throughout the world, and the problem lies squarely on the shoulders of Bush and Cheney!
“What if” Russia eventually views us as such a grave threat, as we did them when they were deploying nuclear missiles in Cuba, that they make a preemptive strike against the US? Russia has always viewed the US with suspicion and distrust as evidenced by the first cold war. Fortunately Russia destroyed itself financially fighting a war that broke their national treasury, the same as we’re doing now, and the “new Russia” I’ve written about before is much more aggressive and bold since Putin has achieved almost undisputed power, eerily similar to the actions of Bush and Cheney. But in all fairness, Russia and China are reacting to US aggression in the Middle-East, and worry about a President they believe would use nuclear weapons at the drop of a hat.
While the MSM has kept their attention turned to Iraq, Iran, Pakistan and other Middle-East issues, they are ignoring the 600 pound Gorilla in the living room that transcends the Mid-East in an overall threat assessment against the United States. Why is the MSM paying so little attention to events that could affect every person on the planet? If I know, they know, so it’s a matter of choice rather than ignorance - and the American people need to demand answers and urgently contact Congress and anything else legal they can think of to pressure Congress to remove Bush and Cheney from office before they create a situation that spirals into WW III.

The US says it wants missile defence in eastern Europe to counter threats from states like Iran and North Korea.

If any of us actually think this through, what are the odds that either North Korea or Iran will fire a nuclear weapon aimed at the United States knowing that they will instantaneously be turned into glass? - probably before their weapon(s) even reach the US, an act of utter suicide! I’m betting Russia is taking that into consideration, especially when neither power is believed to have the capability to carry out such an attack for several more years - time that could be used to diffuse the situation, not aggravate it every chance we get! It’s time to get these warmongers out of office before we face a crisis that offers nothing but the most drastic of measures to solve - and that decision could entail us defending ourselves with our nuclear arsenal, and then nobody wins!
