This was the first year that Justanothercoverup received in excess of a million hits, and as of this post, the total number of “hits” are in excess of 1,419,890 for the year - and 841,900 of those were this month. Anyone who reads this commentary is aware I’m not a professional writer, and my style is to state the truth, back it up with facts and links to the source(s) upon which I base the story - and then let the reader decide if it’s truth and fact or poppycock, something that is the responsibility of the MSM, not a private citizen. I have no political affiliation and would support anyone that pledges to restore our system of checks and balances and respect our Constitution, Bill of Rights, and the Rule of Law. For an unknown such as I to receive that much traffic certainly isn’t based on my writing talent, but the issues that are presented, and honest commentary and news you won’t find on the MSM. As it pertains to S 1959 and the FEMA authorized concentration camps that have been built by KBR, Americans want answers, and if you Google S 1959 and some of these articles, you’ll find they are published throughout the liberal and progressive Blogosphere in numbers that are indicative of a nation that is waking-up and demand answers rather than spin and lies. There’s a new article on Op-Ed News by Kathyrn Smith that delves deeper into S 1959 and the implications of its passage, and for all of us its a good read and demonstrates the fight is far from over:

The Government as Judge, Juror and Prosecutor of Americans in Secret Courts? No thank you!

The situation in Pakistan was predictable even by a newbie to politics like me and was pointed out in these two stories, both of which fell on deaf ears in regard the government. The Bush administration is too caught-up in their own self righteousness and foolish bravado to look at the situation as a whole and tend to compartmentalize the various conflicts which are developing around the world, many of them caused by American foreign policy blunders; each situation is unique, and as it concerns Pakistan, the warning signs have been present and obvious - and surely present much more of a danger to American security than Iran will pose for years to come:

The Situation In Pakistan Is Grave - This Is Where The US Military Has An Obligation To Support Pakistan

Situation In Pakistan Is Much More Complicated Than The MSM Or Bush States

A news update just came in that US Troops are headed to Pakistan in January, again, too little too late, a hallmark of the Bush administration’s foreign policy blunders that continue to keep the Middle-East in a constant sate of upheaval:

U.S. Troops to Head to Pakistan 26 Dec 2007 Beginning early next year, U.S. Special Forces are expected to vastly expand their presence in Pakistan, as part of an effort to train and support indigenous counter-insurgency forces and clandestine counterterrorism units, according to defense officials involved with the planning… Now, a new agreement, reported when it was still being negotiated last month, has been finalized. And the first U.S. personnel could be on the ground in Pakistan by early in the new year, according to Pentagon sources.

It actually gets worse, as this commentary from RAW Story vividly describes:

Opposition leader’s assassination ‘moves us closer’ to potential nuclear apocalypse, expert says

Predicts Pakistan will not dissolve, but US lacks options dealing with nuke-armed country

The death of Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto has left the US lacking in options for dealing with the tumultuous, nuclear-armed, militant-rich nation and has raised the possibility that the country’s weapons will fall into the wrong hands, leading to a possible apocalypse, a foreign policy expert tells RAW STORY.

“When people aren’t looking, you have a question of command and control of their nuclear warheads,” Steve Clemons, a senior fellow at The New America Foundation, said in an interview Thursday.

Clemons said Bhutto’s assassination could cause the “Doomsday Clock” to tick forward. The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists maintains the clock, which depicts how close the world is to midnight, representing a nuclear catastrophe. At the beginning of this year, the clock was set at 11:55 p.m. MUCH MORE

Most of all, the American public has been in desperate need of true Presidential leadership, and when we examine what Australians are being advised to do to insure their survival, or at least weather the storm better in the event of a pandemic breaking out, our own government has been derelict in their duties to inform the public of the extreme risk we face and as a country, we are ill prepared to meet any disastrous condition that could have been mitigated by a strong President - one that looks to our future beyond his endless wars and enriching those “good Republicans” who lack in experience yet are placed in positions of authority simply because of their donations and loyalty to the Bush concept of maximizing the rich and decimating the poor and middle-class of America. Even Hong Kong has advised it’s residents to prepare for disaster, but Americans are still lulled into complacency by a President that is more interested in urging Americans to buy more consumer goods to prop-up an economy that is rapidly showing signs of collapse on a scale that will make the Great Depression pale in comparison to what we may face as soon as early or mid 2008:
