Barack Obama will soon be our new President, but we must never forget what George W. Bush and his administration has done. As an American who was drafted during the Viet Nam War, then watched the Nixon Administration drown in its own arrogance; I did not believe our nation would ever permit itself to be sucked into another unnecessary war like that, or allow another administration to believe it was above the law. But we did.
This is the real legacy of the Bush Administration. It is a reminder. George W. Bush is the embodiment of all the human frailties the Founding Fathers warned us about, and his administration is an example of how bad government can become, if citizens do not stay informed and involved.
