As an OpEdNews Multi-Media Editor, I post five videos each week that I
think you should see. I do not do this to select videos that represent
the top news stories of the week. I pick five videos that I think show
something that may have been underreported or that I think should be
seen by you because of what the video explores.
The past week has been dominated by WikiLeaks and talk about whether or not to assassinate Julian Assange and what this means for secrecy and privacy and transparency in government. I will depart temporarily from the WikiLeaks story but return to it at the end.
First off, if you are into the WikiLeaks story, I will be doing a live 2-hour podcast at 4 pm ET today, Saturday, December 4th. This is the
link. I and host Chris Novembrino and news analyst Jordan Darnell Williams will be taking calls and also offering up our take on the contents of the cables, the issues WikiLeaks raises, and we will be getting into a debate on Julian Assange and whether WikiLeaks is "anti-American."
