Call this what you will
For Sophia in marriage
Is the nameless Tao.
Why nameless?
Because She is Mother of the Word
Beyond thoughts and conceptualizations
She"the undivided Brahman
To Whom thought returns to naught.
What I hope the reader gets out of this poem is that Wisdom, Sophia, is not in a belief system but is the ground of this moment. Hers is the potential of new life for She is beyond conditioning. Sophia is a belly dancing stripper. She removes the veils of conditioning until She unveils Her naked essence which is nothing. It is this place of nothing that the Psyche is able to move beyond the conditioning of culture to tap into the infinitely creative. Lao Tzu, the author of the Tao Te Ching puts it this way, "Be newborn, be free of yourself." Interesting that whole, hole and holy are pretty much one word! Being nothing is to embrace all!
Is it any wonder that if you rid yourself of your conditioning that the modern army of Ceaser will come for you to hang your backside up on the cross?
The story is not about an external figure living in the Middle East several thousand years ago. The virgin birth story is true for you here and now. To be newborn and free of yourself is to be free of your conditioned mind. This is the true essence of a virgin mind. Yet, this is not to deny creation for creation has an important function:

Can the eye behold herself

Infinity is seen as dark in most creation stories throughout the world. Thus Genesis 1:2 says the beginning is without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Likewise the Rig Veda says "Darkness enfolded darkness in the beginning." Most people see this state as being in time. But, most serious meditators realize it is a state of mind marking the beginning of this moment. In physics its called the Unmanifest Implicate Order by David Bohm.
