A KISS IS JUST A KISS... unless it is lip service.

After listening to Pres. Obama's recent Jobs speech, I couldn't help wondering how well it was going over with the repukes. Granted, the audience seemed to like what he was saying. They were on their feet applauding throughout.   I wonder how many of them were democraps? Good old politicians, you can never tell what they are really thinking, but you can be pretty sure that if their lips are moving they are probably lying.

I bet most, if not all, the repukes stayed home just to show how they felt about Obama. I mean, why should they bother listening, they know they won't approve the plan and that Obama will probably cave in to their demands anyway, right? Only this time, they may have cut their own throat. Americans are fed up with the game playing at their expense.

Most of what Obama said seemed to please those who showed up to listen. He made some good points. Even old sour puss Boehner, sitting behind him, seemed impressed, applauding a few times.   At least until Obama raised the point about the rich paying their fair share of taxes. From that point on, Boehner never clapped again. In fact, he looked as though he'd had a sudden attack of hemorrhoids. His face visibly pinched up as though he were in pain. You could see his brain working on it for the rest of Obama's speech. I almost felt sorry for him... almost.

I can pretty much guarantee you that the repukes are not gonna pass this jobs bill if Obama insists on keeping that point in it.   They have already sold their souls to the corporate devils. They would be too afraid of having to return all that money they got.

Obama talked about how the poor are suffering, though he kind of slid over that fact that there are a lot more of them since he took office. It made me wonder, not for the first time, why it took him nearly 3 years to come up with this plan. Were his brains out playing golf all that time? Were his administrative thinkers out on an extended bender? Or were they too busy raking in millions of dollars from closed door deals with corporations?   How many people lost their homes because they couldn't find work when their jobs were outsourced?   That was something that he left out of his speech.

Oh, he mentioned something about giving tax breaks to companies who hired anyone that had been out of work for 6 months or more. Whoopee!   He talked about making America great again. We have only one direction we can go anymore. But, it's a damn shame that he has to bribe American companies and corporations with tax incentives to hire American citizens. If it had been me, I might have said something about taxing them more for outsourcing our jobs to foreign countries.

I realize that in 14 months we will be voting again, and in the meanwhile having to listen to these pea-brained republican peacocks squawking about how they can do a better job as president.   The biggest peacock, Rick Perry, nearly ruined Texas, and is, in fact, using state taxes to fund his election. Isn't that illegal? I wonder how many Texans planned to vote for him. I wonder if they know he's using their tax dollars to pay for his security detail while running around the country (and vacationing). I can only imagine him as president of the USA, using the country's tax dollars as though they were for his personal use. I guess we'll have to wait and see if he's stolen enough money to bribe The Electoral College . (You didn't think your vote actually counted, did ya?)

For the most part, it was a pretty good speech. For a while it appeared Obama had found his shriveled balls. Let's hope he doesn't mistake them for golf balls and lose them again. Of course, that's presuming the repukes can keep their hands off them for a while.

I was going to apologize for the cynicism in my words, but decided against it. I'm only voicing what everyone else is thinking, but are too afraid to say out loud. I think our president might have been able to do more for this country if he'd had a backbone. I'm sure it isn't easy getting anything productive done when you are dealing with a bunch of vampiristic republicans whose only goal has been to suck as much blood money out of the economy as possible. Seeing how many of them (Dems included) have become millionaires since taking office was an eye opener. But, if Obama had just stuck to his guns things might have been different. At least he would have garnered some respect.

Being a politician these days isn't about making America great. Not with our current elected officials anyway. It's all about getting rich quick.   It's like the quickest way to become a millionaire now.   Just scrounge up enough donations from people (corporations), with promises to repay their generosity once elected, and the money pours in. You don't even have to pander to the public any more. Like Gov. Scott of Florida, (who recently won the dubious title of "Worst Governor In America", barely squeaking by Rick Perry of Texas)   and who isn't liked by either side, Republican or Democrat, it only goes to show that if you have enough money, you can buy your way into office. When's the last time you heard of a poor man being elected president?

Hopefully, the rupukes won't shred this jobs bill and, more importantly, Obama won't cave in and misplace his balls again. It's not about being liked, Mr. Obama, it's about getting the job done. So, be a man and keep your word this time. If the repukes don't want to pass the bill it will be on their heads come election time.

Contrary to what you may think, Mr. Obama, the American people aren't stupid. We're fed up with the bull crap our govt. has been feeding us. We know what's going on. But, if you don't want to go down in history as being a worse president than President Bushchenney, then you'd best man-up and hang onto your balls this time. It's just too bad you waited till your popularity stats were tanked before you presented this plan. Is this the plan you hope gets you re-elected?   With so many people out of work, many losing the homes they spent years paying for, and most being so angry at your ineffective job performance, you just may have waited too long this time.

Unfortunately, the political pool has little to offer us in the way of decent replacements, just a bunch of fat, overfed, 'gold' fish eager to gobble up the best, selling off the rest to foreign investors. Pretty soon, there won't be an America anymore. How does Chinarica sound?

PS. Hey Stupid, you want to get re-elected? Get us out of that G%# D@&! WAR!
