Since the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven here on Earth has been preached all over the World for a witness to the Nations as The Lamb said in Matthew 24:14 we are clearly living near the dawn of a New Age. The age of that child in Isaiah 9:6 who's Kingdom will have Peace from "that time on and forever." That child of Isaiah 9:6 should not be mistaken for the child on 7:14, whose time ends in curse.
Isaiah 2 and Micah 4:3 says they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against Nation and never again will they train for War. We won't have the trouble President Eisenhower warned about in his farewell address of the Giant Military Industrial Complex. Many wise Men have seen that a Standing Army has been the "bane of liberty since the sword. America must show the rest of the world how to combine technology with nature.
Isn't it common knowledge yet that the Trillions we have spent on GUNS AND BOMBS, while spending more on defense than almost the rest of the world combined, could be used for things that would help Mankind leave a better life for all Generations to come? This young Troubadour from over 16 years gone by, spoke well to the United Nations, which sadly did not lift a finger to heed her words.
I am quite sure that as Daniel the Prophet said a time or two, that the indignation will run its course while purging, purifying and refining us for times to come when common sense and common courtesy will lead many to righteousness for times to come. As Arlo Gurthrie with his white hair like wool sings in this "Times Like These" song, these times are going to pass for times to come.
It would be more than good for this Generation to take a good look around at things which we could purge from our lives. (Since I, and many others I've read, have already mentioned the GUNS AND BOMBS...I feel bad for mentioning them again.) What I would like to see purged from American Society, since I can mainly only focus on US, since I am an American; here is what I think would be a good start:

Can we not refine Our Free speech into what educated people would call Constructive Debate? If we purge and refine Our speech, it will purify our hearts and minds for the times of peace we are going to leave all Generations to come.
