Like a missile,
Shot,
Through and through,
From one side,
Of the body,
To the other.
Everything in its way,
Taken out,
Destroyed,
Ruined,
Laid,
To waste.
An unkind word,
A deed,
A moment,
Of discontent,
Taken to,
The extreme,
Fired,
From one corner,
Of a room,
To the other.
From the,
Corner of one's mouth,
To the deepest depths,
Of another's being.
Chambered missile,
In place,
And fired,
Upon command!
Words,
An off the cuff,
Remark,
A jibe,
A barb,
A dig.
Each,
And everyone,
Intended,
To wound,
Injure,
Driven,
To the quick,
In order,
To inflict,
Maximum damage.
Not just to,
The psych,
But as well,
To the soul,
The spirit,
The superstructure,
The underpinning,
The foundation,
Of one's being.
To sully,
Mar,
Tarnish,
Stain,
Defile,
Crush,
Ruin,
To shatter,
Every good,
Thing,
Associated,
With one's life.
