Have you ever Krazy-glued your thumb and forefinger together accidentally? That tiny dot of glue can transform your hand into useless fingers. In an instant, it can erase the evolution of an opposable thumb, the physical tool that helped mankind to build and create.
So very many of the Christian Right have, in a sense, Deplorable-Crazy-Glued themselves to Donald Trump with the glue rendering both entities ridiculously worthless: in their steadfast support of Trump (coming out of the hatred for Hillary) the alt-right "Deplorables" of Christianity have hypocritically gone against some of Christianity's own basic principals. And Trump now faces his biggest image problem to date: there is no mistaking the fact that half of his supporters fall into the "deplorables" category. The data brought out by Think Progress is proof.
And some pretty bad religious "Deplorables".

The patriarch of a family featured on the TLC reality television show "The Willis Family" was arrested Friday and charged with rape of a child stemming from an alleged sexual encounter around 12 years ago, authorities said. Toby Nathaniel Willis, 46, was arrested in Greenville, Kentucky, by agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the bureau said in a statement. The TBI said Willis traveled to Kentucky "in an effort to avoid law enforcement."

If last week's Values Voters Summit - with Trump as the featured speaker - was
any indication as to how many uber-Christians are also alt-right and bigoted
"Deplorables" there are a lot out there. In their own communities
they may be slightly closeted, but in a large group, they are out there rooting
for one thing: Dominionism.
