Of course no murdering rapacious empire ever admits it is.
The heartless Spanish conquerors exterminators of more than 95% of Latin America were just harvesting gold and heathen souls for God and His Church.
The proper (if slaving and opium-pushing) British reapers of more than 100 million corpses were just bringing "civilization to the savages."
And, why, the Nazis pikers at only 40 million or so slaughtered were just defending Germany from victimization.
You got it - the Spanish were only "crusaders," the British "civilzers," and the Germans "nationalists."
That's all.
But what about the and here are two words to get on their Homeland Security sh*t-list the U.S. imperialists, whose empire's size and deadliness dwarfs all previous?
Who are they?
Simple answer:

Boo-hoo: "All we do is help other countries. But God! they still hate us," cries America the Victim.[America shakes her lowering head, then makes eye contact again]
"And look, when we try to help them MORE when we send in our forces . . .
[America takes in shuddering sobs, then tries to gather herself]
"When we send our forces into their countries" [America heaves a short sudden intake of breath] to really help, they hate us even more!
