There are reports by US intelligence warning the US Government, the American people and people around the world that US power will diminish over the next twenty years. The US Government is spending million’s, or billion’s of dollars on this inaccurate gathering of information. Plus, many private and academic think tanks are giving their advice free of charge or, in some cases, they are charging the Government for their services. But what good is it, if the President or the people helping him make decisions, do not take the time to read the reports or simply do not care what others are saying?
Please do not get emotional and frustrated with what we are trying to say in our weak and unsophisticated English. We are trying to talk to you straight without covering it up. It is very difficult for us to write in the sophisticated English vocabularies like other freelance journalists.
First, everything has a beginning and an end. Even our sun will be gone in 25 million years according to some scientists. American powers are not an exception. We are born to die, just like everything else in this world.
The USA was created by the original revolution of America’s first settlers. They built the country on solid foundations. The American constitution is the document which gives every citizen, including naturalized immigrants, the right to speak out. We hope that we are not going to be persecuted by your Government for what we are writing for you to read here. This is the same constitution that allowed US citizens to elect a first generation immigrant son with black skin. America’s original constitution was created by Thomas Jefferson with the help of others. The country was successful based on the work of these original leaders until the argument over slavery caused the civil war to break out between North and South. The USA almost fell apart during the civil war because the constitution did not take care of all the problems between the states of the Union. The USA was fortunate to have President Lincoln at that time, because he saved the Union. The country was OK until the Great Depression, in large part because of the good work of President Lincoln.
America faced another challenging era during the Great Depression, but the people were fortunate enough to elect President Roosevelt. He saved the country just like President Lincoln did before him. His leadership led the country to the promise of a better future which brings us to the USA now.
With the people’s help, the US Government successfully led the country in a fight against communism, with the exception of the Vietnam War. The American people served humanity by stopping the most horrible ideas of communism. The White House did not provide the effective leadership which would have made it possible to take advantage of the opportunities created by the fall of communism. They followed the old method of the cold wars. When Islamic terrorists declared war on the USA, the Government did not have plans to combat the horrible religious ideologies we are facing today.
Religions have been used as effective political tools for the past few thousand years. But now, stretching over the last few hundred years, they have been replaced by political ideologies. The US Government is clueless in this war. They do not understand the problems facing humanity on this earth. The Islamic terrorist ideology and beliefs used by Iran and Osama bin laden’s movement of al-Qaeda so far have been successful.
All people on earth are facing a lot of challenging problems. We need leadership willing to read and work hard to find solutions instead of ignoring the problems. The problems facing humanity will not go away unless the people and the Government work together in solving these problems. Here is what we, as outsiders, are saying to the American people . We would love to see the USA and other progressive and humane people win the war against terrorism.
Regarding domestic problems, we hope the Government will fix the wrong doing and corruption from the local level all the way to the White House. We hope the corruption of lobbyist influence on the decision making process can be eliminated. We hope the FBI with its specialized skills can be used in the war against these corruptions. The people should be heard when they have complaints about Government wrong doing. If Government investigators identify individuals as bad citizens, there are no other agencies or courts to go to for legal help unless you are very wealthy. At the end of the day, The Government needs to preserve the system of checks and balances to serve the country efficiently.
In short, “CHANGE” needs to be real change, not just talk. The country’s oldest institutions need to be overhauled and improved. The economy is the back bone of the country. If the Government does a good job, by eliminating wrong doing and rebuilding with true reforms, then the wealth of the country will reach every citizen fairly. The capitalist system is working. Corruption will destroy the country without these needed solutions.
We hope the President Elect will be a successful choice by the people. We hope his presidency will succeed like President Jefferson, President Lincoln and President Roosevelt. The international policies of the US Government should be fair for all people around the world. Human rights are ignored around the world. The American people and its Government are giving hope to many nations around the world even with the short comings of the last few decades. America is the only power that can do these good deeds at this point in history.
Many people do hate the USA now because of the wrong policies of your Government. Even so, in their hearts people around the world love America because the USA is a country of justice. People everywhere love your moral values and high standards, your free democratic system, your constitution, your progress in technology and your ethics of hard work. The people around the world are looking at the USA as a model for human progress.
Americans always complain by wondering why the world does not like America when Americans are so nice. We are going to try to explain based on experiences from our home, the terrible land of the Middle East, a few of the reasons for that. We are going to give you our thoughts about what is the reason the people overseas do not like you in the USA.
The US Government after the World War II has been in a cold war against communism. The US did not follow fair and good policies for a long time. There are no good reasons for supporting injustice around the world. For example, you supported the UK against the Irish people; you supported France and Spain against the Basque people; you supported Sri Lanka against the Tamil people; you supported Turkey during the Armenian Genocide and against twenty million Kurds in Turkey, while the constitution of Turkey denied the existence of the 20-30 million Kurdish people in Turkey; you are not doing anything about that, but you do support their war against the Kurdish people, too. There are no differences between the policy of Turkey denying the existence of the Kurds and the evil policy of the old South Afrikaans Party (SAP) programs. You supported the SAP policies of South Africa, too. You are not forceful when you are dealing with the Arab’s unjust war against Israel. The Arabs and Jewish people come from the same families. The Arabs are more than 300 million people now with very large territories and vast amounts of land, but there are about 15 million Jews in the world with only 6 million in Israel and a small piece of that land. You never ask them what happened to the Jewish people of the Middle East. It is only because the Arabs have oil. You listen to them with a smile when they want to wipe out Israel. The Islamic Government of Iran wants to wipe out Israel too. You do not ask them to solve the internal problems of Iran before going to serve the Arab’s cause. Opponents of the Iran Government are killed in Europe. Just look at the case of the killing in Austria and Germany of Iran’s Kurdish leaders, and the building of an Atomic Bomb to wipe out Israel. You are not following the set of fair policies established by your country’s founding fathers.
The US Government does not have to go to war with every nation around the world to establish peace. They can go to the UN and enforce the law and justice for all. They can confront the bullies in the UN. For example, they can demand the arrest of the Iranian president because he wants to wipe out Israel and he was personally involved with the assassination of the Kurdish leaders in Europe.
The US Government can support self determination and the desire of every nation around the world to have their own independent country without discrimination as a principle policy of the USA. They can support to saving humanity from environmental disasters. They can support economic justice and economic development around the world and the improvement of the life of the ordinary people. They can help regions around the world just the way they helped Western Europe after World War II. They can help peace and stability around the world through the UN charters by establishing neutral committees of judges for each problem around the world to be solved by laws so every nation could go to the UN and ask for help to get independence instead of going to war.
