Dear Barry,

May I call you Barry? I know I shouldn't call you by your first name, but I feel like I know you personally. If we are ever together in public, I'll call you Mr. President.

First of all, I'd like to tell you a few things about myself. Like you, I used to be a democrat. I became an Independent when I saw the Democrats being taken over by corporations. While I became an Independent, you became well"something else. I know you still call yourself a Democrat, but we all know that real Democrats no longer exist.

I want to take this opportunity to tell you how impressed I am with your political acumen. You (or the people you choose to run the campaign) seem to have the ability to run a campaign brilliantly. It is truly amazing how you can run an entire Presidential campaign based on pure bullshit and make it appear that you are promising the voters heaven itself.

When you won the last campaign on the premise that you would bring "Change" to Washington, I almost believed it. When I realized that your major campaign contributor was Goldman Sachs, I figured that either you were either lying about your promises to either Goldman Sachs or to the American voter. After the election, when you kept Ben Bernanke and chose Tim Geithner for your economic chief (both Goldman alumina) I figured you were lying to the voters. This was verified when you gave trillions of dollars to Wall Street criminals without asking for much in return. All Americans got to see the biggest heist in American history right from their Lazy-Boy's.

It was pure audacity when you ramped-up the war in Afghanistan in your acceptance speech for the Nobel Peace Prize! I was amazed when nobody mentioned the irony of it. That's when I realized you weren't just a politician, you were also a magician.

I must admit, you actually gave the American people hope that the excesses of executive power that characterized the Bush administration would stop, even as you continually wiped the White House floor with the U.S. Constitution. What really amazed me was the way the Democrats turned a blind eye when you forgave the Bushco crime family for torturing suspected "terrorists" and performing surveillance on the American people with illegal wiretaps, illegal searches, extraordinary renditions and lying about the entire premise of the war in Iraq (among other things).

What really tipped me off that you were a fascist is when you urged Congress to include American citizens to be subject to "indefinite detention" without any regard for due process under a clause in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) (See S 1867: Killing The Bill of Rights and Declaring War on Americans http://www.opednews.com/articles/S-1867-Killing-The-Bill-o-by-Timothy-Gatto-111202-678.html). It is truly amazing that Congress would allow you to make American citizens "disappear" without ever having to charge anyone with a crime which means the government does not have to bother with any type of bothersome legalities. The U.S. Army can come to your house, take you (with no legal paperwork), and keep you indefinitely or until "The War on Terror" is over ("over?" like the war on drugs, the war on poverty etc. etc.), yeah, right.

The pinnacle of your debauchery has to be the drone strikes on American citizens overseas. Assassinating American citizens without ever formally charging them or bringing them to trial (even in absentia) definitely brings you into the same league as Hitler, Stalin and other notable despots. I'm sure your family is proud.
