Unfortunately, as was the case with Helen Thomas, the truth will get you fired if you tell it about Israel, the zionists or the power of the Israeli and Jewish lobbies in America. This should lead many to realize that the Jewish and zionist minorities and lobbies in America can override the lst Amendment of the Constitution, which protects freedom of speech -- especially when it is used to tell the truth about these groups. Some have tried to say Sanchez was wrong for speaking the truth. We disagree; he had the right under the 1st Amendment, and he used it.
It is a fact that the Jews in America are not an oppressed minority. Sanchez was speaking about oppressed minorities, and as a Latino, he's one of them; as am I as a Muslim and an Arab, but though we are oppressed in many ways, and though the zionists oppress the Palestinians and other peoples, no one in American media is allowed to speak of this without getting fired.
Even Jon Stewart makes it clear that Israel is an oppressive regime and that many zionist groups in America control the media for Israel and for their own ends. I'm sure both Jon Stewart and Rabbi Lerner would defend Sanchez; at least I hope they will because they both have made clear that freedom of speech is dear to us in America and must be defended. This was not hate speech, this was simply a statement of facts; if you don't believe Sanchez or me, then check on the major owners of Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC, Washington Post, New York Times, Los Angeles Times and even the head people and commentators on PBS, and you'll see Sanchez was correct.
Sanchez' comments were made during a radio interview he did on the "Stand Up! with Pete Dominick" SiriusXM radio show to promote his new book "Conventional Idiocy." Part of the interview is below:
Pete Dominick: [Jon] Stewart's a minority as much as you are. He's Jewish.Several US Jewish groups called on Sanchez to retract his remarks. Obviously, this led to his firing, the pressure from the pro-zionist Jewish groups who use their pressure to stop much of freedom of speech in America as it relates to their power and to the power and cruelty of Israel.
Sanchez: Yeah. Yeah. Very powerless people. Please. What are you, kidding?
Dominick: You're telling me that....
Sanchez: I'm telling you that everybody who runs CNN is a lot like Stewart, and a lot of people who run all the other networks are a lot like Stewart. And to imply that somehow they the people in this country who are Jewish are an oppressed minority? Yeah.
