The Al Jazeera Freedom Blog is reporting that Israel has deployed state police to the airport at Tel Aviv to respond to the expected arrival of hundreds of pro-Palestine activists. It is literally an "air Flotilla" to show support for blockaded Palestinians. According to the report...
"This Friday, July 8, hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists are planning to fly to Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport in a display of solidarity with Palestinians living in the occupied territories.____________________"According to organisers, at least 500 people have already scheduled flights to Israel, including Palestinians that will fly from Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia.
"The 'fly in,' as organisers are referring to the action, will bring protesters to Tel Aviv where they will all arrive within a two-hour period.

Gaza Flotilla activists refuse to sit idly by and wait for their governments to step in to assist them. The Al Jazeera Freedom Blog has posted the following...
"For days now, the government of Greece has been blocking international aid boats from setting sail towards Gaza.
"And now activists from the so-called Gaza Flotilla are taking matters into their own hands. They're holed up inside the Spanish embassy in Athens, demanding that the Spanish government intervene.
Al Jazeera's Jamal el Shayyal reports from Athens.
