Religious right fanatic Glenn Beck has announced he will hold rally in Jerusalem this August. The rally, Restoring Courage, is to whip-up even more support for the Jewish state of Israel and it's ethnic cleansing of the entire city of Jerusalem.

In his announcement of the pro-Israel rally Beck says the mistakes he's made in the past are when he used his "foolish head" but the good things he's done came when he used his heart and his faith.  This is typical of the religious right. They can't stand the test of God-given reason so they promote faith. And as the Deist Thomas Paine wrote about how the clergy have corrupted the meaning of the word faith in his outstanding book, The Age of Reason, The Complete Edition (click here for the Kindle version), ". . . for faith is nothing more than an assent the mind gives to some thing it sees cause to believe is fact. But priests, preachers, and fanatics, put imagination in the place of faith, and it is the nature of the imagination to believe without evidence."

On August 24, 2011 Beck plans on holding a rally at the Southern Wall of the Temple Mount. Even Beck has to know that this will be very antagonistic to the Palestinians and Muslims.

Perhaps Beck really knows the Torah and Bible. Perhaps he knows that Moses, whose image is on the posters announcing the rally (pictured above), was a genocidal cold-blooded murderer. For example, at Numbers 31:14-18 Moses is angry with Israeli officers who did not commit genocide against their enemy. Moses berates them saying, " Have ye saved all the women alive? Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him. But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves." Verse 35 informs us the number of "women children" the Israelis kept for the sexual pleasure was 32,000. With knowledge of this type of ungodly genocide and mass rape we can better understand the Israeli brutality against the Palestinians, even the Palestinian children as pictured below. We can also understand why Beck couldn't care less if his provocative actions at the Muslim Temple Mount will cause violence, bloodshed and much suffering.

Beck, like most members of the religious right, simply ignores the horrendous tales of genocide and rape in the Bible. The hero and icon of Christianity, C.S. Lewis, even failed to remember the above Bible account of not only genocide but of taking young girls to rape. In his highly promoted and overrated book, Mere Christianity, he writes, "Men have differed as to whether you should have one wife or four. But they have always agreed that you must not simply have any woman you liked." In An Answer to C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity (click here for the Kindle version) I Bob Johnson makes the point that Numbers 31:14-18 prove Lewis wrong.

Beck, like fellow religious right lunatic Pat Robertson, believes the two state plan in which both the Jews and the Palestinians have their own state, is wrong. Beck said, "They will attack the center of our common faith, Jerusalem, with the two state system." The Palestinians deserve a home they can call their own just like everyone else. How Beck and the religious right can attempt to deny them this basic human right is beyond reason.

In Becks announcement he does as all Israel-firsters do, he attempts to use the Jews from National Socialist Germany as a tool to a Greater Israel of Biblical proportions. This has been done by Israel itself to get their way on important matters. They play the "Holocaust card" for further Israeli atrocities and expansion. As Norman Finkelstein wrote in his important book The Holocaust Industry, "The Holocaust is 'moral capital'; Jews must 'claim sovereignty' over this 'valuable property'. . . 'In effect, Holocaust uniqueness--this 'claim' upon others, this 'moral capital'--serves as Israel's prize alibi."

The charlatan Beck is proving by being a total sycophant for Israel and holding this rally that he knows who really runs the show and who is the real boss.
