To Everyone Who Reads This:
PLEASE!

Health CARE and Health INSURANCE are two separate things. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. Health INSURANCE is meant as an instrument for raising money and the more INSURANCE executives can collect, the better. Way too many politicians and media personal depend on donations or advertising dollars for financial gain or for personal gain, such as paying for the next campaign. This comes at great COST to those who depend on INSURANCE to be there when they NEED it. And all too often just when they do, those in control, take it away. People die in this country every day because of these practices and I firmly believe this price is too high.

Health CARE, on the other hand, is having a DOCTOR by your side before surgery, assuring you that you'll be okay. Care is having a caring NURSE bring you a warm blanket when you are cold in the middle of the night. CARE is having a NURSE change your dressing and clean your wound or put a cool cloth on your forehead when you have a fever, or WASH YOUR HAIR when you are confined to your bed.
CARE is having a hospital close enough to your home, filled with people who are DEDICATED to your health and comfort and to saving your LIFE in a crisis.
CARE is having access to a Primary Care Physician who CARES enough to keep track of all your various health issues, who you have CONFIDENCE in and who knows you well enough to know when something is wrong even before you do.

MOST of us who have access to Health CARE do have the best in the WORLD, but the SYSTEM is the worst. We need to put the DOCTORS, the PATIENTS, and other HEALTH CARE professionals FIRST.
People all across this country are paying out hundreds and thousands and tens of thousands of dollars to INSURANCE COMPANIES who's only CARE is their BOTTOM LINE, who's TOP PRIORITY is to DENY the CARE in FAVOR of the PROFIT and without any regard to the outcome, even if that profit comes at the cost of the patients LIFE.

All I'm asking here is that any one or all of you, who read this, PLEASE make the distinction between Health INSURANCE and Health CARE.
DOCTORS, NURSES, Hospital Personnel and Technicians and Physician's Assistants and Ambulance Attendants and FIREMEN AND POLICE OFFICERS are the ones who are going to SAVE YOUR LIFE in an emergency while the INSURANCE EXECUTIVES will TAKE IT, if your DEATH is more PROFITABLE than your  LIFE.
Some of you, on my list, have access to media, some to Congress and influence on the bill that will come. PLEASE DO THE RIGHT THING. DON'T LET THE FEAR MONGERS WHO HAVE IT ALL ALREADY, PASS A DEATH SENTENCE ON THOSE WHO DON'T.

YOU have the opportunity to be saviors to millions who will die, not for any wrong doing on their part, but, simply because they don't have the MONEY. Profit IS a good thing. But EXCESSIVE PROFIT at the cost of even ONE LIFE is NOT.

Thank you for your time and for your energy and your work on this regardless of how it turns out. BUT please don't let the interchange of two opposite outcomes continue. Make the distinction every time the subject comes UP.
