During the past week, I have felt myself in what I call a mini 9-11. Tragedy, news media, conflicting reports, etc. There is still a pall over this town. I feel it everytime I go anywhere...I have felt very sad. It's difficult to watch the news. FOX is the worst.  My best expressions of feelings have been through poetry. Below - my contribution to this unfortunate time in our history:

Oh Innocence

The youth, the lives

Taken away

In the bright sunshine

How many deaths

Must we mourn

Lives ripped apart

That early morn

We always seek

To place the blame

The right, the left

A place, a name

Just  to see

The victims could
