In Defense of Rush and Freedom

The recent media attacks on Rush Limbaugh serve to confirm that they are afraid of him and they think he is dangerous to their cause. Media with a cause? It is as simple as the NBC networks going overboard to make Obama the best candidate they could while going to the opposite extreme to attack the opposition. A case in point is that while they attacked Sarah Palin as being inexperienced, she had been a successful Mayor and a popular Governor. In comparison to Obama, who has never had executive experience and had only been in congress for two years Sarah Palin was overqualified. Before his short mostly “present” vote stint in congress Obama had only been an attorney for groups that pushed banks to make sub prime loans to minorities. Some of the same sub prime loans we are now feeling the pinch over. He also worked with the Acorn group that has been indicted in several states for voter fraud, and is now slated to receive millions in stimulus money from the American tax payers. So why did the networks go into the tank for a candidate with no experience and a shaky track record at best? One needs to go no further than the statement made to stockholders by the CEO of GE who owns the NBC networks. “We are on board with President Obamas environmental and energy plans.” Suspect, to say the least, and at the worst, a complete and total sell out of the national media for profit. Rush Limbaugh who is merely and entertainer (at this point) has seemed to galvanize the conservatives in this country who were abandoned by the Republican Party and his audience has never been bigger. The truth and principles this country was founded on are his platform and anyone that can make an entertaining show out of that with as many listeners as he has, he must have something special the people want. The fact is we are starved for the truth in America. Our media has been taken over by either greedy corporations eager to reap the profits or by socialist, wanting a cradle to grave government to legislate and regulate utopia. The fact is there is no utopia through government, there is only socialism and communist waiting in the wings for those that believe there is. If we are to have freedom in this country we need voices of truth like Rush Limbaugh to remind us, freedom is ours and the governments to take away.
