Below is Dr. Steve Pieczenik's recent message to the American people. Dr. Pieczenik claims to be an agent of revolutionary change in this country, along with other members of US intelligence and law-enforcement agencies. The existence of such "disaffected" individuals within our intelligence communities who are, in fact, in the process of trying to directly influence the outcome of the election on November 8th, in no longer in question. The top headline on the Huffington Post as of this writing is "FEAR: ROGUE FBI AGENTS MEDDLING IN ELECTION".
Similar stories have also appeared in the "Guardian" and "Talking Points Memo".
The intent of the video seems to be a warning as well as reassurance that despite he and his cohorts having been "outed" by the media, something earthshaking is about to take place in the few days remaining until the election.
But it's difficult (at least for me) to "decode" what he is actually talking about. He starts the video reminding his viewers of the previous video where he announced that there had already been a "civilian coup" by Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Loretta Lynch, James Comey and others, on November 1st of this year, followed by a "counter-coup" by his friends in the intelligence and law-enforcement communities.
Now, he admits that these were not violent coups in the way that most people generally think of them. He says the insurrections came about "through the egress of thousands of emails..."(???) In addition, Dr. Pieczenik claims that all of this occurred on the Internet. Yet, I'm not aware of any evidence of multiple coups within the US government having recently transpired, let alone having been posted. For me, just the idea of a sitting president participating in the overthrow of his own government is just plain silly. The possibility that the President overthrew himself, but was then re-instated by a hostile intelligence community might explain the Obama Administration's seeming continuity throughout all of this upheaval, but it allows for little basis for taking Dr. Pieczenik's assertions terribly seriously.
Yet he goes on to warn the American people of a looming "interruption of power", much like what occurred during Steve's own time at the Nixon White House, and similarly, immediately following the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan.
Despite all of the prior nonsense, I find this all quite disturbing. People who don't generally make much sense are often the ones who inflict the greatest harm. I don't know what these folks are up to or if they can actually disrupt a national election. But anyone convinced of the inherent nobility of Donald Trump (regardless of what you may think of Hillary Clinton), and who may well have access to even a fraction of the US intelligence apparatus, makes me more than a little queasy...
Please tell me what you think.
