Landrieu: "Drill, Drill, Drill," Calls Obama "Senator"

The disrespect toward President Barack Obama and the 195 million Americans who support him continued yesterday not only from an increasingly rabid Right Wing--which has taken to shooting up the Holocaust Museum with their de-regulated guns, but even from special interest "Democrats" who have recently switched parties on almost every relevant platform that belongs to the Democratic Party.

The latest Democratic traitor, Senator Mary Landrieu, came out swinging at the president yesterday on CNBC's "The Kudlow Report." The senator sported an endearing "f**k-you America" smirk and only half the Southern accent she projected in an appearance on the Kudlow Report 10 months ago--which coincidentally was during her campaign for the Senate.

Landrieu chanted "Drill, drill, drill" like Michael Steele at the Republican National Convention. She added that she is doing everything she can to "convince this administration that they are wrong [about their energy policies]." The Obama administration! What DO YOU MEAN THEY ARE WRONG!?!? YOU ARE IN THE WRONG PARTY, YOU SMUG, ARROGANT SPECIAL INTEREST SELLOUT! Obama is doing exactly what he campaigned on, a platform that won him 65 percent of the electorate!

Landrieu exposed how she and Republicans like Chuck Grassley continue to look down on the President of the United States, 6 months into his first term (minute 6:32): "You're right," Landrieu said. "The Senator Obama's team out of the box has not looked good on these issues."

Let's get one thing straight before you start telling the President and your boss how to do his job, okay Landrieu? First of all, you see that Election Night in November? Maybe you ought to go back and watch it again. You remember how President Obama destroyed his "drill, drill, drill" Republican opponent within an hour of the Pacific polls closing? You remember how a million people watched his acceptance speech live in Chicago? You know what that whole thing was about? He became the 44th president of this country. So it's *President* Obama. You got that?

Let's get another thing straight. Your party, and by that I mean the Republicans, is detested by Americans. All you can talk about, Landrieu, is "drill, drill, drill." That was the only solution you people could come up with during the Republican Convention. That was your entire platform, Ms. Landrieu. Guess what? You lost.

American's don't trust your Big Oil friends anymore. They know that when you advocate "drill, drill, drill" on behalf of Exxon Mobile, that the only people getting rich are the corporate executives at Exxon Mobile. They know that Exxon gets access to America's treasures, drills without paying taxes or royalties, and makes profits off of all of us. We need alternative forms of energy.

Shame on you, Landrieu, for exploiting the economy by sounding the alarm of "drill, drill, drill" and acting like that's going to fix everything. That's like watching a fire consume a house made out of wood and saying, "We need to start rebuilding the kitchen with this wood I have here," while the structure is still on fire.

President Obama, now read this really slowly Landrieu because I know it's a really crazy idea, wants to build the kitchen with...drum roll...stone (ahhhhh). Ooooooh. I know, pretty neat, huh? But your crapping all over him, you indolent waste of tax dollars, because you work for the special interests of this country. You are the enemy in America. You, Chuck Grassley and the rest of your special interest buddies.

When-the-hell is Harry Reid or anyone else in the Democratic Party going to start knocking heads around when Democrats express such sharp criticism about the President. Democratic leaders do themselves no favors to embrace a culture of acceptance and tolerance for members of their own party to bash President Obama without consequences. Landrieu is voting and acting like a Republican. There need to be real consequences for people like Chuck Grassley and Mary Landrieu for stepping out of line and attacking President Obama.

There must be some retribution at some level. George Washington had severe consequences for deserters. There was good reason. If Obama wants to accomplish his goals, he and Harry Reid need to start holding the line.
