" Every individual needs revolution, inner division, overthrow of the existing order, and renewal, but not by forcing these things upon his neighbors under the hypocritical cloak of Christian love or the sense of social responsibility or any of the other beautiful euphemisms for unconscious urges to personal power. Individual self-reflection, return of the individual to the ground of human nature, to his own deepest being with its individual and social destiny here is the beginning of a cure for that blindness which reigns at the present hour." C.G. Jung

This Leo full Moon is the fifth full Moon in a row to occur in the last degree of its sign.   From the full Moon in Libra/Aries to this one at Leo/Aquarius, all the signs except Virgo/Pisces have been tested in these past 5 months to bring forth the very best they have to offer. (see The Cosmic Story for those posts)   From Aries courage and initiative, Taurus' values and talents, Gemini's communication and understanding and Cancer's nurturing and emotional intelligence, this Leo Full Moon magnetizes our unique creative expression and sense of purpose   -- all at the service of the Aquarian vision of individual freedom and group responsibility.   We have only to look to Egypt to see what it might look like for each of us to stand up for the future.

While all full Moons have a strong gravitational pull on the Earth and our human bodies, this full Moon is close to the Earth, as well as closely aligned with both the Earth and Sun.     In case you haven't noticed, the energy is intense right now and everyone is feeling it. Take time for yourself, to center and ground.   Take time to meditate, do yoga and eat healthy.   Take time to play and create.   In creating a balanced lifestyle, you are bringing in a whole new paradigm for a conscious, fulfilled life.

This full Moon is conjunct one of the 4 ancient royal stars - each star associated with one of the 4 fixed signs and constellation: Taurus the Bull (ALDEBARAN), Leo the Lion (REGULUS), Scorpio the Eagle (ANTARES) and Aquarius the Man (FOMALHAUT).   These are some of the most brilliant and recognizable stars in our heavens.   Go out and let the stars shine on you, filling you with a sense of glory and majesty.

The royal star Regulus means "little King' or "Prince'.    It's believed to rule the affairs of heaven and has been considered a lucky star since ancient times.   This brightest star in the sun's own sign has always symbolized greatness and power.   With my own Saturn sitting there, I can tell you that this "Cor Leonis" or "Heart of the Lion" demands that we take up our responsibility to be the kings or queens of our lives, and for the sake of the Earth.

Leo Full Moon

This full Moon in Leo wants us to express our dreams and our hopes for the future.   Aquarius is very future oriented.   With the Sun joining Neptune the day before the full Moon, that Aquarian vision is deeply spiritual and imaginative, calling on us to live an artful life.   Mars and Mercury join Neptune and the Sun, giving us the initiative and the new ideas to bring forth our vision.

The Sun in Aquarius is also conjunct Chiron, the wounded healer, which is just moving into Pisces.   All of the healing visions we've had in the past few years are ready for us to manifest.   With Chiron's sojourn in Pisces, the collective heart of humanity is going to finally heal very old and long-lasting wounds.   We are the ones who will help them heal as we have healed ourselves.   We are the wounded healers at this moment in history.

Aquarius and The Round Table

  Details   DMCA

This Leo full Moon, opposite all these planets in group-conscious Aquarius, asks us to take our seat at the Round Table.   Are you ready to take your seat there in the Siege Perilous -- the perilous seat that only the Grail hero can sit in unharmed?   The Round Table came to Arthur on his marriage with Guinevere, who is the living representative of the Goddess of the Land.   The Round Table symbolizes the Land itself, and all the knights and ladies who sit at it as equals are called to be caretakers of the land and of the people.

When the land is in danger -- remember the story of the Maidens of the Wells? -- when the Wasteland threatens us, the knights and ladies of the Round Table are called to journey forth and stand for the Land.    Each of us can sit at the Round Table -- not all need be warriors, although each of us needs a warrior spirit to sit there.   We are being called to use those special gifts that we've struggled, sacrificed and honed ourselves with, so that we have learned how to use them wisely and well.

So many of us want to make a difference in our world, and watching our Egyptian sisters and brothers take back their country because they were not afraid, can encourage us to stand up in our own communities and groups to create a new vision for the future.   There are many new technologies and sustainable ideas already being implemented around the world; you don't have to re-invent the wheel.    But follow your passion and it will lead you to do great things.   Check out these two websites: www.ted.com, ideas worth spreading, and http://www.nextworldtv.com a network of common sense solutions to many of the world's problems.   There's a great video there on bio-mimicry, which shows how we can emulate nature to deal with some of our most complex problems.
