Surrendering liberty
Doesn't buy security.

Liberty is most of security.

Liberty is
Security from bigotry,
Security from authority,
Security from the arbitrary,
And security from invasion of privacy.

Liberty is
Security from brutality,
Security from atrocity,
Security from theocracy,
And security from corporatocracy.

Liberty is
Security from tyranny,
Security from autocracy,
Security from monarchy,
And security from stratocracy.

Liberty is
Security from oligarchy,
Security from aristocracy,
Security from plutocracy,
And security from timocracy.

Liberty is
Security from law enforcement discrimination,
Security from law enforcement corruption,
Security from wrongful conviction,
And security from wrongful incarceration.

Liberty is
Security from racial or ethnic discrimination,
Security from religious or creed discrimination,
Security from disability or medical discrimination,
And security from age or gender discrimination.

And liberty is
Security from security.

Liberty is the greatest security;
Liberty is the paramount security.

We need to increase liberty
To increase security
And otherwise increase security
Without decreasing liberty.

Then the future won't be ruled by fear;
The future will be ruled by freedom.

The seed of liberty
Grows peace and prosperity.
