Medicare is hit

MEDICARE IS HIT

As reported earlier, the Medicare payments to doctors for services rendered to patients are cut by 10. 6% The cut had earlier been planned to take place on January 1st. but was delayed by the Congress to take effect on July 1st. Another. try to delay was defeated by one vote ..All 50 Democrats who were present plus nine Republicans voted for the bill. This could be devastating for new patients in an area .where Doctors will not take more medicare patients.
