QUESTION:I am a future Occupational Therapy student at the Medical College of Georgia. My father was a Chemical Operations Manager at the Nutrasweet plant here in Augusta, Ga for over 10 years and I was raised drinking only diet cokes and sugar free sweet tea. 5 years ago I suffered from acute seizures and after CTs & MRIs I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was successfully removed & I returned to school stronger than ever.
In 2008 my father was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease.) It is considered a genetic disease although there is no record of it in any previous generations. The VA does not help us at all. My mother now works from the home and the church helps us out as much as they can if not more. My father's health is in rapid decline and they think that he worked on equipment in the 1970's that came into contact with Agent Orange.
I am researching all possible causes of our situation and I am asking you to send me more information on aspartame diseases. I hope to help my family and our doctors as much as possible.

I'm so sorry you've been through this. Yes, aspartame triggers all
these problems. The molecule breaks down to diketopiperazine, a
brain agent. Also, aspartame is a multipotential carcinogen and
caused all kinds of tumors in original studies.
I almost don't know where to start, and yes aspartame affliction is
common in entire families.
Aspartame is a seizure triggering drug. The phenylalanine in
aspartame at 50% is a neurotoxin and lowers the seizure threshold and
depletes serotonin, triggering psychiatric and behavioral problems and
interacting with drugs and vaccines due to damage to the
hypothalamus. In reality, aspartame is an excitoneurotoxic
carcinogenic drug, genetically engineered. It's also an adjuvant, an
immune stimulator.
