OSAMA BIN LADEN'S DEATH RAISES OLD AND NEW QUESTIONS
Just before midnight on May 1, President Barrack Obama announced that Osama Bin Laden (actually spelled: BinLadin) was killed during a covert operation on a mansion in Attabad, Pakistan. The announcement came just days after Obama had made changes at the highest level of his defense and intelligence agencies. It has raised old and new questions about both bin Laden's death and his role in the 9/11 attacks against America.
THE PHONY SMOKING GUN
Perhaps the biggest outstanding question about his role in the 9/11 attacks is: Why would the U.S. Defense Department have produced a phony "smoking gun" video in a blatantly false attempt to claim that bin Laden masterminded the 9/11 attacks? On December 13, 2001, U.S. Defense Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld released, without comment, a video that later appeared on C-Span. The origination has never been published but some think that the video came from his Office of Defense Policy, headed by Doug Feith. In that video, a man who Americans were led to believe was Osama Bin Laden, indicated that he had foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks. But there is just one problem. The man in the video was obviously not Osama Bin Laden. Check out the pictures below of him from that video compared to other authenticated sources taken just before and after that time.
That Defense Department video was widely used to label Osama bin Laden as the mastermind of 9/11 even though bin Laden consistently denied involvement in authenticated Arab sources such as Al Jazeera. Years later, President George W. Bush admitted that bin Laden was not the mastermind after his administration obtained a confession from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. That confession came in 2007, after Mohammed was waterboarded and subject to a variety of other torture treatments prior to the coerced confession.
BUSH AND BINLADIN COINCEDENTAL FAMILY BUSINESS CONNECTIONS
But it is not enough just to ask Americans to believe a phony video. We are also asked to believe it is just a coincidence that Bush and binLadin family business connections date back decades to George W. Bush's Arbusto Energy and the Carlyle group, represented by George H.W. Bush. Ironically, both the Bush and BinLadin families stood to profit through Carlyle group defense investments when Osama bin Laden's alleged rhetoric generated the 9/11 terrorist attack.
NEW QUESTIONS ABOUT HIS DEATH
Now while unanswered questions still remain about the role of Osama bin Laden in 9/11 and the Bush / BinLadin family connections, a new set of questions about his death have surfaced. Bin Laden, was known to have a kidney disease requiring dialysis prior to 9/11 as well as diabetes and low blood pressure. He was also pronounced dead by former Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, during a November 2, 2007 interview with David Frost. During that interview, she stated unchallenged that bin Laden was murdered by Omar Sheikh . The following month she was assassinated. So that leaves us with some disturbing old and new questions about his death that are not likely to be answered:
- Did the Bush administration really want to find Osama bin Laden given the business dealings and decades long friendship between the Bush and BinLadin families?
- Why did President Obama remove the Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, a Bush appointee, just days before he ordered the covert attack?
- Why did former Benzair Bhutto state that he was murdered if he was still alive?
- Why has no one seriously challenged her on her assertion during the last four years?
- What evidence will the public ever receive that he was actually in the mansion and killed?
- If bin Laden really "resisted" the attack, why was one of his wives, who was shielding his body, killed?
