As Progressives complain that Obama is not overtly going after GwB for his crimes against America, we're not noticing all the ways Obama is exposing Bush. This is one that seems to have escaped the Internet chatterbox.
Q. Why are so many "Shovel Ready" infrastructure projects available at a moment's notice to plug into Obama's enormous Stimulus Package, which allowed it to be written and pass thru Congress in record time?
A. Because they have been accumulating in the wings for 8 years, waiting as GwB spent every cent he could lay his a hands on to blow-up Iraq so that his NeoCON buddies could pump billions out of taxpayers pockets to pay for rebuilding infrastructure over there that they would not rebuild for us here.
We paid for it there. Now, we'll pay for it here. Spending every cent available there simply guaranteed that things were falling apart here. It was their insurance strategy: to have more tax-paid work to do after we got kicked out of Iraq, IF they had not been able to start another war somewhere else.
But, then, there's Afghanistan. We haven't come close to blowing Afghanistan apart, so we've spent very little building back. Of course, we have also caused "insurgents" to blow-up what we build back in Iraq, prolonging the Iraqi people's agony, charging American taxpayers to build it back all over again. It's a tried and true strategy, honed to scalpel sharpness by NeoCON experts, set in motion with Ronnie Rayguns Deregulation of our New Deal safety nets.
And the American people are dumbly squabbling and blatering over stoopid cartoons thrown to us as scraps to keep our attention diverted, so we will just keep paying and paying and paying. Why haven't we learned how to ignore these tricks? They sucker us in every time with a new one.
They got us to arguing over why Jesus is advertising for NeoCONS who are fighting the Stimulus Package. NeoCONs know that disclosures brought about by implementing the Stimulus brings them closer to jail-time. Otherwise, they're set to make money on the up-side OR the down-side.
Anyone watching TV anymore is permanently brain-damaged from all the diversionary crap pumped out. Roman Emperors and Senators had the Coliseum Games to keep citizens from seeing how badly they were being screwed as the Roman Empire collapsed. We have 24/7 All "News" Television Propaganda.
Turn it off. Throw it away. Haven't had one for nearly 3 years. It's the only way you can reclaim your brain: break the addiction. You think the NeoCON corporations who own Big Media will ever tell you the truth? Get real.

In the last nine (9) months, some $27 TRILLION in accumulated wealth has evaporated from Global Capital Markets -- gone from the face of the Planet -- never to be seen again.
Most folks are trying to figure out how to raise enough money for another spending spree for more useless Chinese stuff at Walmart, or searching for fire-sale bargains derived from the pain of other Americans, and alternatively trying to keep from being thrown out of their homes. We're rapidly becoming a nation of cannibals.

I've been fighting to restore sanity since the first GwB theft of our electoral process in 2000. Of course, he was just a puppet, doing what he was told. They tried to keep him on permanent vacation from anything that mattered so he wouldn't step in something and mess it up. When Osama came out and endorsed GwB just before Election 2004, I fully understood why GwB had been told to abandon the quest to kill him. "Go for Iraq's oil instead," said Cheney. "Osama is our ally, you dummy!" And so they did. Didn't work. Yet.
How did NeoCONs turn the American Dream into a nightmare? Decline of everything ordinary Americans worked decades to achieve began slipping away when handlers put actor Ronnie Rayguns in the White House to Deregulate everything. Ronnie was never anything but an actor, performing whatever script he was handed. He should be given an Academy Award Oscar for his role as President of the USA. Fortunately, Mercy of the Almighty gave him Alzheimer's so he would not know the horror he brought us.
I can't tell you how many typing zombies have written criticism back to say some Democrat here or there was responsible for it all. What can you do but shake your head in wonderment at how successful the NeoCONs have been brainwashing the limp-minded among us?
Right now, the ploy is to fool us into believing this will be over in a year or two. It's their way to keep us from rioting in the streets, as the threat of it was so clearly made, to force passage of Paulson's TARP Bailout of all his financial buddies on Wall Street.
