Does the Shin Bet aim to stop Jewish terror, or is the Shin Bet the perpetrator of Jewish terror, both in Israel and in Palestine? Is Israeli military rule in Palestine "apartheid", or is it a "reign of terror"? There is no chance that such circumstances could have continued for almost fifty years, absent staunch US backing...
Tbe Dawabsha family home after the attack. Three of the family members have so far died, including a toddler. The forth is struggling for his life.
Two of the suspected murderers Meir Ettinger and Eviatar Slonim, in court, all smiles... While they were placed under administrative detention, it appears that there is no intention to indict them on murders...
____OccupyTLV, September 15 -- on the night of July 30, four persons caused the death of three members of of the Dawabsha family in Kafr Duma, Palestine, including the two parents and a toddler, by throwing firebombs into their home while they were sleeping. One child, Ahmad (4) is still in critical condition. Media reported that the perps remained on location, and watched the burning people running out to the street. They also left racist Jewish graffiti on location.
It was clear from day one that it was the handiwork of Jewish right-wing extremist.
With saturation levels human and signal intelligence in Israel and Palestine, probably unparalleled in any other nation, it was also clear from day one that the Shin-Bet knew, who perpetrated the murders of the Palestinian family in Kafr Duma.
However, to this date, no one has been held accountable and no indictment has been filed. Such circumstances raised from the beginning the concern that the Shin-Bet was itself directly involved in the murders.
A similar picture emerged following the 1995 assassination of PM Rabin by a member of a Jewish underground. The leader of the extreme, violent underground group, Avishai Raviv, code name "Champagne", turned out to be an on the payroll, undercover Shin-Bet agent... Initially, the Shin-Bet tried to hide that fact. Later, when it was exposed, the Shin-Bet argued that there was no "public interest" in prosecuting him. Finally, Raviv was prosecuted and acquitted in a court process that largely lack in credibility. [1] Today he is employed by government again...
Four days after the Kafr Duma murders, on August 4, 2015, Minister of Defense Yaalon made a statement, vowing to lead 'uncompromising' fight against Jewish terror. [2]
Then, September 9, 2015, following widespread criticism relative to the lack of action, Minister of Defense Yaalon announced in a closed meeting of Netanyahu's party members, that the authorities had identified the perpetrators. However, the authorities had decided against legal action to avoid exposing the sources in court. [3]
Such explanation is ludicrous. The Israeli authorities routinely file sealed evidence in court in cases involving security matters.
The next day, September 10, additional information, was leaked by blogger Richard Silverstein, which provided a better explanation. [4]
"Last week, Sara Yael Hirschhorn, writing in the NY Times,
[5] named three suspects under arrest: Meir Ettinger, Mordechai
Meyer, and Ephraim Khantsis. In her interesting article, she notes
that two of them were born and raised in the U.S. The third,
Ettinger, is the grandson of Meir Kahane, the most 'illustrious'
terrorist produced by American Jewry.
Haaretz confirms there are
three suspects under administrative detention. It includes Ettinger
and Meyer among them and adds the name Eviatar Slonim. Khantsis was
arrested after threatening a Shabak [Shin Bet - jz] agent at one of
the judicial hearings in the case. He's not seen as a
co-conspirator in the actual crime, as far as I know."
Silverstein adds:
"An Israeli security source informs me that one of co-conspirators in the crime, but not the actual firebomber, was a Shabak agent. He did not name this individual. He said: "one of the killers' inner-circle members -- not one of the killers themselves -- was a Shabak agent provocateur -- a kind of 'Avishai Raviv'. "
Therefore, it appears that there is no way to prosecute the suspects without exposing the role of the Shin-Bet in this case... Moreover, this explanation also resolves the question, why there were only 3 suspects in detention, when there were four perps on location...
