Today I had a talk with a friend about a meditation I sent out this morning. It had to do with making government work, something that the tea potty is out to change into only for the serfs.
MY POST THIS MORNING WAS AS FOLLOWS.
The women of the Seneca when choosing a traditional leader, never allowed the men to know who was being considered. From discussions I heard when Uncle Bob passed and they were looking for another Big Tree or peace chief, they thought of who was most respectful to the children and elders, who actually sought the advice of his mother, wife and sisters on important decisions and who showed in his actions that what he said and what he did were the same. Maybe we need to start using the same standards in choosing our leaders.

As I see it the Republican Party stands for I've got mine, the hell with you. They all pretend to be good Christians but not one of them meets the criteria of following the way of life given by Yeshua in the Sermon on the Mount. From what I see they worship at the feet of the high priest of the Federal Reserve which is a private bank allowed to counterfeit money, issue it and we the people get to pay them for the privilege.
The difference between the Republicans and the Democrats is simple, they both worship at the same trough. So the Democrats pretend to throw the serfs a bone once in a while, but sell themselves to the same masters.
A good example of the lying going on is the war on entitlements which are not entitlements at all and have nothing to do with our present debt status. Our present national debt spiked because of the busting of the housing bubble, caused by unethical and illegal actions by BofA and other too big to fail banks. Both Social Security and Medicare started as insurance programs and people like me have in the case of SS since 1958 and in the case of Medicare I paid into the insurance program since the day the program started. Everything hinges on recovering the money stolen by the too big to fail banks, and breaking them and their power ASAP.
You want good government that serves the people look at how the Seneca Nation choose it's traditional leaders.
1: How has the person running treated the children, women, sick, disabled and elders?
2: Does the person limit input on decisions or do they seek out even opposing points of view?
3: Does the person walk his/her talk? Do they in everyday life act according to what they say?
It's up to us. Do we look at the people running with these three questions in mind or do we vote party line or. worse, who looks more attractive?
