The question has been asked - why bother responding to someone who represents a company that I consider completely unethical and whose business practices I abhor?
Well, here is the answer – because I can. I am able to pull from the vast amount of resources available on this website and many others to confront the enemy in order to expose it. Don't get me wrong, I do not think that anything I do or say will change Monsanto's business practices or attitude towards anything or anyone one little bit, because I don't. The only change I expect to see in Monsanto is an increase in expansionist policies and monopolistic seed practices until the company either succeeds in a planetary food takeover, or is stopped in its tracks.
I respond to Monsanto's mouthpieces because by countering the obvious public relations jargon with logical, documented facts, people that wouldn't normally view the information, might just get it and start waking up to what is actually going on right under their noses. This is my goal, and this is why I respond. By responding, I do more research, dig up more facts, and display them for all of my readers to see. I also gain a better understanding of the enemy. This is a good thing.
Make no mistake about it, we are engaged in a war for our very lives and the lives of our children. This is not a game. We need to engage the enemy, and to do that we need to know what and whom we are fighting. We must learn the enemy's strategy in order to counter it. We also need to have our ducks in a row and back up what we are saying. If we don't, the enemy will smell blood and like a chicken, peck until we are bloody and running for our lives. Don't let that happen to you. Stand up and fight.
Believe this – we are the majority! Monsanto is not bigger than we are. We have just got to stand up and realize that we out-number them, and as more of us wake up and smell the monopoly, the better off we are.
So, let's cut through the PR baloney and stand up to the corporate mouthpieces with facts, figures, and downright common sense. We know that Monsanto's business practices have wiped out countless independent farmers and destroyed whole ecosystems. Tell people. Shout it at the top of your lungs! Let them know that we will not put up with the Monsantopoly!
