Praise be and pass the collection plate! It appears to many that be it new age, old age, Christian, Jew, or Buddhist that there is a mimicking of Wall Street regarding financial gain on one end and self-righteous arrogance regarding theology mirroring science and political philosophy on the other. Indeed, as skirts, blouses and jeans flow in and out of fashion, it appears what we call religious teachings in this modern age also flow in and out of fashion. "Let's do Kundalini Yoga! It's the latest fad alongside purple panties and red, white and blue ties." Granted there are those that call themselves "old school" religions. Some of these exhibit themselves as the born again Christians turned politically into the right wing demigods led by the bare breasted Ronald Reagan enticing his followers to victory over health insurance, decent pay, and retirement incomes.
Is this all there is to religion? Basically religion is nothing more than a mirror of all the other fields in humanities arsenal of deadly weapons protecting its philosophical and theological arrogance and its ability to attack others that disagree with their self-centered point of view. The most intense expression of this entails those who are destined to doom your ass into hell for disagreeing with what they say is true.
But, regardless of what many of the academic atheists say, this is not the way of all. Indeed, the academic atheists in their self-righteous arrogance can be as dogmatic as any Christian, scientist (especially in the social sciences) and philosopher. Mm, dare we argue about thoughts or our ideals? Perhaps it's the ideals we need to rid ourselves of? After all, what is a thought except a vapor trail arising from the mind? If we think in accordance to any scientific, religious, or political philosophy, then we are full of it"you supply the term to place in lieu of the "it."
And what is the purpose of hating a Muslim if you are a Christian or a Christian if you are a Muslim? It's nothing less than the divide and conquer mentality. Ya gotta have an enemy and ya gotta foster hate and fear so people can't think on their own. Divide and conquer is our mode of operandi in the modern state of our sociopathic lives and lies. And the divide and conquer mode is reinforced by having people put themselves in theological, religious, theoretical, philosophical and categories that in the overall history of humanity are really nothing more than hot air living as temporal fads.
Is there anything more to life than this saturation of fads? Yes, but you have to find it in yourself. You have to turn your eyes inward and take them off the fellah thundering his nonsense on the boob tube. So, find yourself a different breast to suckle! Simple enough?!
In mystic Christianity, Christ is not seen as some externalized tyrant who zaps people into hell for not filling up a reverend's collection plate. Nor does He zap us into hell for not buying what some television evangelist yapping about a theology that you should buy hook line or sinker. Nor does He zap people into Hell for masturbating, gazing at the backside of a woman or a man, being black, or, in this day and age, being a Muslim. (Actually, masturbating became a "no-no" back in the old days where procreation of the species was extremely important. Masturbating was seen as a waste of semen that should be used for baby making).
In mystic terms, Christ is the evolutionary potential inherent in all creatures. Christ is the antithesis of mind control. The Virgin is simply the Soul or Mind emptied of all things i.e., conditioning. Yes, no wonder the Romans (Republicans, Democrats, Bankers, Television Evangelists) want this baby and His Mother dead. He could spell the end of their rule because He is not conditioned according to their protocol. He's just not buying the lie, damn it! Nail His ass to the cross! How dare He turn over the money tables!
The Feminine, i.e., the conceiving power inherent in all human beings, has been suppressed and thus Christ remains inside of us as a potential egg awaiting resurrection. But, it's a hard battle that is fought tooth and nail against people that don't even realize there is a battle going on".well until recently as evidenced by the Occupy Wall Street phenomena throughout the world. Their cross for speaking truth is called pepper spray and media verbal abuses trying to place them in the category of anarchists, a term that most people watching don't even know the meaning of. Keep them dumb!
This suppression means more control over the population because to be Creative is often to place one's self in a position of questioning authority. This is why we have a "no child left behind" policy. We are teaching to a test to make sure we don't have free thinkers emerging from within the school systems. No child left behind is but a slogan for no child is left thinking creatively.
If you have spent a lot of illusionary money to whip the children into shape so that you can use them to sell, make, bake and otherwise prostitute themselves for your profit"then you don't want a lot of off-the-wall creativity. You want little robots that think as you want them to think and create as you want them to create. This is done in such a fashion that the general population can be dazzled into a mindless state of consumerism and political sheepmanship. Creativity is simply to serve the "boss" and not to evolve deep insights that have the potential of creating change. Yes, those creative cartoons keep the little buggers mystified and dummy-fried so they can be good little soldiers, consumers and workers. Hence Popeye eats a can of genetically engineered spinach grown in a monoculture cropped garden and defends his similarly canned or bottled Olive Oil and Sweet Pea against Big Bad Brutis".who is probably a Green Party Candidate.
Yes, standardization is good for the crops, good for industry and good for growing good little children working military style, lined up at standardized desks while being taught to a standardized test so that they can effectively slave for hours on end for low salary to attain that illusionary heavenly goal of riches upon riches promised by the laughing hyenas behind the curtain.
Is this what you want for the future humans on this planet? Do you want this for your future children?
If not, you may enjoy watching the following two films. Both do a great job in clarifying and amplifying some of my spiritual babbles:
The first is called: How it Feels to Have a Stroke. It will bring tears to your eyes.
The second is called How Our Minds are Controlled. Both movies will get you to think about how you're thinking.
