Many beautiful consolations for Governor Romney!

Mitt Romney is damned lucky not to become President of the 'United States of Atrocities,'  currently murdering in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, Libya, Syria, and wheresoever else a US president must order  according to the needs of the international community of private investors in maintaining their profit margins. [1]

There many other consolations for Romney. For four years at least, he will not be able to get on Noam Chomsky's list of presidents, starting with Truman, who if tried under Nuremberg Principe Six and Seven as were German leaders in 1945 and convicted, would have been hanged.  The five US presidents alive could yet face tried. [See website Prosecute US Crimes Against Humanity Now and "If the Nuremberg laws were applied, then every post-war American president would have been hanged." Noam Chomsky, 1990.

By not becoming Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces, Mitt Romney will avoid being indicted by former Veterans For Peace President Elliot Adams for what would have surely been his continuing to order, as Obama does, murder from the skies of suspected enemies of America. [see text of indictment read this year at US Air Force Drone Base, Hancock, NY, appended]

Romney won't have to pretend to be proud while obligated, as President, to lie about why US Armed Forces and CIA under previous post WWII administrations brought violent death to some ten million in the third world.

He won't have to assault his Mormon conscience by repeating preposterous media-disseminated explanations of why America is good to be saving Syrians from themselves, as America saved Libyans from Libyans last year, is still saving Afghans, Pakistanis, Somalis, Yemenis, as they saved Iraqis Iranians, Lebanese, Nicaraguans, Grenadians, Vietnamese, Laotians, Cambodians, Dominicans, Panamanians, Cubans, Haitians, Guatemalans, Salvadorians, Venezuelans, Bolivians, Ecuador, Brazilians, Argentinians, Chileans, Uruguayans, Koreans, Greeks, Chinese, Filipinos and others, including, some time ago, Mexicans, and, in the very beginning, Native Americans, Africans and African Americans at home. (Remember Obama, during his inauguration address, bracing himself and hailing the achievements of European colonists as they moved westward across our land as well as those of Americans who died defending us in Vietnam.)

Congratulations Governor Romney! You are spared from perhaps having to carry out your threats to bomb the innocent nation of Iran, an Iran that had its oil-nationalizing first democratic government overthrown by a CIA team led by Kermit Roosevelt to install our man as their Shah, who was in turn overthrown by the Iranian people (tens of thousands of whom were shot down in the street), only to be invaded for eight years by Reagan-backed US ally Saddam Hussein, and now, since Socialist Ahmadinejad's election has been threatened with nuclear attack as the Israeli-led West seeks to recolonize its oil fields as a final preparation of plans for an investor-profitable world war with China and Russia.

Congratulations, you won't have to order the same crimes against humanity that Obama and his predecessors will face future court judgement for. You will probably get away with your crime against peace in promising you would remove the president of a friendly nation by arming the "right people."

By not being chosen as the new poster boy of the two-party dictatorship of the greatest empire of the most exceptional and righteous people on earth, you will be able to go on being a leading member of its elite without fear of imprisonment.

And not being president, you won't be running the risk of being assassinated for some mistake of acting independently of what Franklin Delano Roosevelt referred to as a "financial element in the centers of power that has owned the country since the days of Andrew Jackson." [2]

Governor Romney, your loss has also been a loss for the anti-war, anti-imperialist movement. You, as a white president, continuing the illegal wars as you promised, would have been an easier target for impeachment. You taking office would have rejuvenated a peace movement derailed by the illusion that a black president of an empire run by powerful white investors, would be more merciful toward the non-white majority-world that has suffered a half-millennium of savage white military supremacy, slavery, plundering, racist occupation, political/economic persecution, and now, re-invasions at will, and wars over natural resources and investments. [3][4][5]

Yours truly awaits the day when citizens everywhere realize that a president, no matter his race or personality, is more of a figurehead than anything else, severely expected by his wealthy handlers not to make waves and to basically do what his financial backers adjudge appropriate to their investments. In US history from Truman on it is more realistic to consider presidential backer David Rockefeller having been, up to today, at the helm of the US empire through appointees of his choice, the Dulles brothers, Henry Kissinger, and Zbigniew Brzezinski.[6]

Governor Romney, you will be able to continue to enjoy looking at your children without the ghosts of thousands of children you would have signed the collateral death warrants of peering over your shoulder.[7]

Followers of the only American whose birthday is an official public holiday, remember that our Martin Luther King Jr held all Americans, including himself, responsible for US atrocities for their being fully capable of making these atrocities unacceptable and inoperable by withholding all support and participation. [Beyond Vietnam sermon] However US presidents are there not only to take the flak as a straw man, but to officially accept the blame and eventual indictment of having signed the ordering for illegal and unconstitutional homicide.[8]

WAR CRIMES INDICTMENT,  28 June 2012

To President Obama, to Secretary of Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, to the full Military Chain of the Command, including Commander Colonel Greg Semmel, to all Service Members and civilian staff of Hancock Air Base, and to the local police and Sheriff's Department of the Town of De Witt, NY:

Each one of you, when you became a public servant, serving in a government position or when you joined the United States Armed Forces or police, you publicly promised to uphold the United States Constitution.  We take this opportunity to call your attention to Article VI of the US Constitution, which states:

"This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding."

This clause is known as the Supremacy Clause because it provides that the Constitution and laws of the U.S., including treaties made under authority of the U.S., shall be supreme law of the land.

The Supremacy Clause provides part of the Supreme Law of the Land.

One treaty duly ratified by the U.S. is the United Nations Charter.  It was ratified by a vote of 89 to 2 in the U.S. Senate, and signed by the President in 1945.  It remains in effect today.  As such, it is part of supreme law of the land.

The Preamble of the U.N. Charter states that its purpose is to "save future generation from the scourge of war" and it further states, "all nations shall refrain from the use of force against another nation."

This treaty applies both collectively and individually to all three branches of government, on all levels, U.S. federal, state, and local governments, starting with the executive branch: the U.S. President and the executive staff; the judicial branch: all judges and staff members of the judiciary; the legislative branch: all members of the U.S. Armed Forces and all departments of Law Enforcement and all civilian staff, who have sworn to uphold the Constitution, which includes Article VI.

Under the U.N. Charter and long-established international laws, anyone--civilian, military, government officials, or judge-- who knowingly participates in or supports illegal use of force against another nation or its people is committing a war crime.

Today you must recognize that when you promised to uphold the Constitution, you promised to obey treaties and International Law -- as part of the Supreme Law of the Land and furthermore, under the Uniform Code of Military Justice of the U.S., you are required to disobey any clearly unlawful order from a superior.

Based on all the above,

We, the people, charge the United States President, Barak Obama and the full military chain of command, to commander Colonel Greg Semmel, every drone crew, and service members at Hancock air base, with crimes against peace & crimes against humanity, with violations of part of the supreme law of the land, extrajudicial killings, violation of due process, wars of aggression, violation of national sovereignty, and killing of innocent civilians.

We charge that the Air National Guard of the United States of America, headquartered at Hancock Field Air National Guard Base, home of the 174th Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard, under the command of the 174th Fighter Wing Commander Colonel Greg Semmel, is maintaining and deploying the MQ-9 Reaper robotic aircraft, called drones.

These drones are being used not only in combat situations for the purpose of assassinations but also for killings far removed from combat zones without military defense, to assassinate individuals and groups far removed from military action.

Extrajudicial killings, such as those the U.S. carries out by drones, are intentional, premeditated, and deliberate use of lethal force to commit murder in violation of U.S. and International Law.

It is a matter of public record that the US has used drones in Afghanistan and in Iraq for targeted killings to target specific individuals, which has nearly always resulted in the deaths of many others.

There is no legal basis for defining the scope of area where drones can or cannot be used, no legal criteria for deciding which people can be targeted for killing, no procedural safeguards to ensure the legality of the decision to kill and the accuracy of the assassinations.

In support of this indictment we cite the United Nations Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, who has said that the use of drones creates "a highly problematic blurring and the law applicable to the use of inter-state force". The result has been "the displacement of clear legal standards with a vaguely defined license to kill, and the creation of a major accountability vacuum. In terms of the legal framework, many of these practices violate straightforward applicable legal rules."  See United Nations General Assembly Human Rights Council Study on Targeted Killings, 28, May 2010. [click here]

The drone attacks either originating at Hancock or supported here are a deliberate illegal use of force against another nation, and as such are a felonious violation of Article VI of the US Constitution.

By giving material support to the drone program, you as individuals are violating the Constitution, dishonoring your oath, and committing war crimes.

We demand that you stop participating in any part of the operations of MQ-9 drones immediately, being accountable to the people of United States and Afghanistan.

As citizens of this nation, which maintains over 700 military bases around the globe, and the largest, most deadly military arsenal in the world, we believe these words of Martin Luther King still hold true: "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today is my own government".

There is hope for a better world when WE, THE PEOPLE, hold our government accountable to the laws and treaties that govern the use of lethal force and war.  To the extent that we ignore our laws and Constitution and allow for the unchecked use of lethal force by our government, allowing the government to kill whoever it wants, wherever it wants, however it wants with no accountability, we make the world less safe for children everywhere.

We appeal to all United States citizens, military and civilian, and to all public officials, to do as required by the Nuremberg Principles I-VII, and by conscience, to refuse to participate in these crimes, to denounce them, and to resist them nonviolently.

THE UPSTATE COALITION TO GROUND THE DRONES AND END THE WARS

Rev. Dr. King versus Frightening and Deadly Hypocrisy in Obama's UN Address
Passages are quoted from Obama's address to the 67th UN General Assembly alongside passages from Rev.DR. King's world shocking sermon Beyond Vietnam - a Time to Break Silence. From the sour feeling in one's own gut while listening to the absurdities, one assumes that the President himself must have a strong stomach to be able to speak such preposterous untruth with a straight and stern face. Obama's falsifications noted

Many Are Dying For Our Having Hoped Obama Would Not Practice Imperialism
Obama putting lives of kids in poor 3rd World nations above the interests of Wall St. war profits would have no precedent. Extremist fighters for justice hold those who only hoped Obama would end the wars least as responsible as the US government. Hope and fear are two sides of the same coin. Fear of retribution beyond that of 9/11 is obviously more prevalent than hope that the killing will cease. Hope&Fear substitute action.

Ever More Pathetic War Criminal Obama Kowtows to Unity of White Racist Empires
(1 comments) Obama speech before the British Parliament - fawning over the proud history of the savage and murderous white racist British empire that America would emulate. How wonderful for Anglo-American predatory investments, David Rockfeller's embracing the clever idea of putting in a black face to front the American Empire flung out over the neo-colonized non-white majority of humanity (as was the British Empire before it).

Demonic David Rockefeller Fiends Dulles Kissinger Brzezinski - Investor Wars Korea thru Syria
History of David Rockefeller led global arrangements of financial-political control thru public information management culminating in "The International Community' (formerly, "The Free World', earlier The Colonial Powers), arraying covert agencies and military of US-NATO-UN, Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, in war on Syria and Iran. China and Russia's pathetic resistance after having acquiesced to the destruction of Libya.

How Does Obama Look His Two Girls in the Eye While Killing Children in Many Lands?
Whatever Obama thinks of about the steady flow of reports of children like his own dying for his military plan, now also in Yemen, it is obvious that the images of dead Muslim women and children will fuel the fanatical movement which sees itself as devout Islamic warriors exceedingly willing to die killing in attacking a superpowerful destroyer of life materialist empire controlling much of the Muslim population

King Would Have Demanded Nuremberg Style Indictment of US Leaders and We Will!
(When a gang robs a bank, depositors don't go into the street to protest, expecting the criminals to be arrested, tried and jailed. King condemned the massive crimes against humanity that most Americans were not seeing as such. Knowing from experience that the financial element ruling society owned judges on the courts, he limited himself to "everyone must protest!" Why King would have called for indictments is explained
