It is actually funny to watch and listen to this Administration get so outraged at Russia's military operation in Georgia after we have invaded two sovereign countries and continuously try to come up with excuses to invade more. It is this Administration's fault that Russia has adopted this type of militaristic stance in the first place. George W. Bush's White House continuously is in pursuit of forcibly taking over small countries and influencing America's capitalistic ideals on countries that have no interest in becoming an American Puppet.
This Administration should not be surprised at all that other Countries in the world look at The United States as a country bent on dominating the world. Our record over the past 8 years has not shown anybody anything but the fact that this Administration wants to control the world and that we are willing to use military force to do so. Russia's Putin could only voice his dissatisfaction over the past when this Administration used every deceptive tactic known to convince the United Nations that it was necessary for the U.S. to invade Iraq, even though all along the Bush Administration knew that absolutely no weapons of mass destruction existed there.
That pack of lies is the reason Colin Powell resigned shortly after. He was a man with integrity and could not face having to lie to the world.
Today this same Administration is using every deceptive tactic in the book to convince the world that it is necessary for us to invade Iran. Sure Iran has nuclear power plants and has a missiles, but this is a fact of the modern age we live in. Russia could make the same case right now with Israel since they actually have nuclear weapons.
It did not take a rocket scientist to see this coming, back in 2001, after the Bush victory, the overwhelming thought on the minds of a large number of Americans was worry about the U.S. going back to Iraq to finish the job his father started. After 9-11 Bush got his excuse and began what had been his quest all along, to secure a U.S. Block of nations in the Mid-East to assure our influence over the entire region by essentially being in control of strategic countries, thus dictating our will on the whole area.
Today we are seeing Russia beginning to counter our quest for domination by drawing a proverbial line and sending the U.S. a message that our expansionism will not be tolerated in their back yard and to back off.
It should surprise no one in Washington that Russia has made a military move in Georgia, it has been long in coming, and the surprise and outrage expressed by the Bush Administration shows they have no idea of world reality.
There is not a society existing in the world that would stand still while believing in such nonsense we have been subject to by this Administration.
If anyone wants further proof of this, they only need to follow the corporate money trail in the Bush, Cheny portfolio.
